"Yesterday, the aviation, missile forces, and artillery of the Ukrainian Defense Forces hit 2 Russian control points, an ammunition depot, an air defense facility, three artillery systems, an electronic warfare station, and 6 areas of concentration of Russian personnel," Ukraine's General Staff writes.
Sectors
In the Kharkiv sector, 10 combat engagements took place near Vovchansk and Hlyboke. Russia was actively using aviation for support.
In the Kupiansk sector, 3 battles took place near Pishchane in the Kharkiv region and Stelmakhivka in the Luhansk region.
In the Lyman sector, 9 Russian attacks were repelled near Hrekivka and Makiivka in the Luhansk region.
In the Siversk sector, 11 Russian assaults were repelled near Spirne, Bilohorivka, Rozdolivka, and Vyimka in the Donetsk region.
In the Kramatorsk sector, the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 6 Russian attempts to break through the defense in the areas of Hryhorivka, Ivanivske, Andriivka, and Chasiv Yar in the Donetsk region.
In the Toretsk sector, Russians launched 20 attacks in the direction of New York, Pivnichne, and Zalizne.
In the Pokrovsk sector, 41 attacks were repelled in the areas of Novooleksandrivka, Vozdvyzhenka, Prohres, Novoselivka Persha and Yasnobrodivka in the Donetsk region. Russia attacked with the support of aviation.
In the Kurakhove sector, Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 8 Russian attacks in the areas of Krasnohorivka, Paraskoviivka, Karlivka, and Kostiantynivka.
In the Vremivka sector, 2 Russian attacks were repelled near Vodiane and Kostiantynivka in the Donetsk region.
Russia did not attack in the Orikhiv and Huliaipole directions.
In the Prydniprovskyi sector, 2 Russian attacks were repelled near Krynky.
Russia's losses in war against Ukraine
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Russia has lost 560,000 personnel. Over the past day alone, the Ukrainian Defense Forces eliminated about 1,200 more Russian troops. In particular, Russia lost 8 tanks, 15 armored combat vehicles, 46 artillery systems, and more.
