On Sunday, July 14, as of 16:00, the situation in the Pokrovsk sector remains the most intense. The enemy is also actively attacking in the Toretsk sector, reports the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Enemy shelling

General Staff noted that Russian militants continue to fire from their territory at the border of the Sumy and Chernihiv regions. In particular, the areas of Chernatske (from the direction of Zernovoye (Russia)), Mykhalchyna Sloboda (from the direction of Pogar (Russia)), Karpovychi, Hremyachka and Yunakivka were shelled.

Situation on the frontlines

According to the General Staff, the number of combat actions along the entire frontline increased to 66 over the last day. More than a third of the fighting took place in the Pokrovsk sector.

The enemy conducted few attacks in the Kharkiv direction - only three. They unsuccessfully stormed near Vovchansk and Hlyboke. Instead, the enemy continues to actively fire glide bombs from Russian territory at Ukrainian villages and towns. In particular, four air strikes were launched from the direction of Belgorod near Lyptsi, four air bombs exploded near Vovchansky Khutory, and Vovchansk was hit by two air strikes with six glide bombs from the direction of Shebekino (Russia). In addition, the enemy bombed Starytsia and Hlyboke, and attacked Veterynarne with unguided aerial missiles from helicopters.

In the Kupiansk direction, Ukrainian troops successfully repelled three enemy attacks near Pishchane and Stelmakhivka. 16 Russian unguided aerial missiles flew over the area of Petropavlivka.

In the Lyman direction, the enemy stormed Ukrainian positions four times in the areas of Hrekivka and Makiivka. Near the latter, they acted with the support of army aviation and launched 20 unguided aerial missiles. The Russian troops also fired uncontrolled aerial missiles at Serebryansky forest.

The Russian militants keep trying to push through the Ukrainian defense in the Siversk direction. Since the beginning of the day, Ukrainian troops have repelled six attacks here. Two more firefights are ongoing in the areas of Spirne and Rozdolivka.

In the Kramatorsk direction, there have been five combat engagements since the beginning of the day. The enemy made unsuccessful attacks near Hryhorivka, Chasiv Yar, Ivanivske, and Andriivka.

Russian troops are currently conducting two attacks in the Pokrovsk direction. In total, there have been 24 attacks since the beginning of the day. The enemy is making almost all its efforts in the areas of Novooleksandrivka and Prohres where a total of 19 combat engagements were registered. Fighting also took place near Vozdvyzhenka, Yasnobrodivka, and Novoselivka Persha. At the same time, the enemy bombarded Ivanivka and Lysychne with three glide bombs. Russian aircraft fired three times at the area of Oleksandropol with unguided missiles.

In the Kurakhove direction, Ukrainian troops neutralized two attacks near Krasnohorivka and Paraskoviivka.

In the Vremivka direction, the enemy attacked twice near Kostiantynivka and Vodiane. He launched three attacks with guided aerial bombs in the area of Velyka Novosilka. Ukrainian troops repelled all the enemy's attempts to advance.

In the Prydniprovskyi direction, on the left bank of the Dnipro, the Russian military is trying to continue active operations near Krynky. Since the beginning of the day, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have repelled two enemy assaults here. The invaders dropped four bombs near Lvove.

In other areas, the situation remained unchanged.
