Russia-Ukraine war: Frontline update as of April 11

In Ukraine, there have been 53 recorded combat clashes on the front line. Unfortunately, due to Russian terrorist attacks, there are casualties and injuries among the civilian population, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Russian shelling of Ukraine
During the day, 53 combat clashes were recorded.
In total, the enemy carried out 53 missile strikes and 84 airstrikes, conducted 61 shelling attacks with reactive multiple rocket launchers on the positions of our troops and civilian areas. Unfortunately, there are casualties and injuries among the civilian population as a result of Russian terrorist attacks.
Multistory and private houses, as well as other infrastructure objects, have been damaged and destroyed.
Situation at frontlines
In the Volyn and Polissia direction, the operational situation remains unchanged, with no significant changes observed in the formation of enemy offensive groupings.
In the Siversk and Slobozhanske direction, the enemy maintains military presence in border areas, conducts sabotage and reconnaissance activities, shells populated areas from the territory of the Russian Federation, and increases the density of mine and explosive barriers along the state border of Ukraine. Approximately 20 populated areas, including Hrinivka and Leonivka in the Chernihiv region; Marchykhyna Buda, Vilna Sloboda, Kucherivka, Studenok, and Myropillia in the Sumy region, were subjected to enemy artillery and mortar shelling.
In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy did not conduct offensive (assault) actions. Approximately 15 populated areas, including Synkivka, Petropavlivka, Stepova Novoselivka in the Kharkiv region, came under artillery and mortar fire.
In the Lyman direction, the enemy did not conduct offensive (assault) actions. They launched an aviation strike in the area of the populated locality Tverdokhlibove in the Luhansk region. Over 10 populated areas were affected by artillery and mortar shelling, including Nevske in the Luhansk region, and Makiivka, Terny, Yampolivka, and Zarichne in the Donetsk region.
In the Bakhmut direction, our troops repelled 15 attacks in the areas of the populated localities Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region, Viyivka, Rozdolivka, Klishchiivka, Verkhniokamyanske, and Ivanivske in the Donetsk region, where the enemy, with air support, attempted to improve tactical positions. The enemy also carried out aviation strikes in the areas of the populated localities Spivne, Andriivka, and Pivdenne in the Donetsk region. Over 10 populated areas, including Hryhorivka, Kalynivka, and Chasiv Yar in the Donetsk region, were under artillery and mortar fire.
In the Avdiivka direction, our defenders repelled 5 enemy attacks in the areas of the populated localities Novokalynove, Umanske, and Netaylove in the Donetsk region, where the enemy, with air support, attempted to dislodge our units from their positions. Aviation strikes were carried out in the areas of the populated localities Novobakhmutivka and Berdychivka in the Donetsk region. Approximately 10 populated areas, including Novokalynove, Netaylove, and Semenivka in the Donetsk region, were subjected to artillery and mortar shelling.
In the Novopavlivka direction, the Defense Forces continue to hold back the enemy in the areas of the populated localities Krasnogorivka, Novomykhailivka, and Urozhainе, where the enemy, with air support, attempted 15 times to break through our troops' defenses. Aviation strikes were also carried out in the areas of the populated localities Kostiantynivka and Vodyane in the Donetsk region. Over 10 populated areas, including Heorhiivka, Paraskeviivka, Kostiantynivka, and Vuhledar in the Donetsk region, came under artillery and mortar fire.
In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy, with air support, attacked our defenders' positions twice in the area of Staromykhailivka in the Donetsk region and Robotyne in the Zaporizhzhia region. Aviation strikes were also carried out in the areas of the populated localities Vremivka in the Donetsk region and Novodanilivka in the Zaporizhzhia region. Approximately 20 populated areas, including Bilohirya, Novodanilivka, and Shcherbaky in the Zaporizhzhia region, were subjected to artillery and mortar shelling.
In the Kherson direction, the enemy persists in its intention to dislodge our units from the bridgeheads on the left bank of the Dnipro River. During the day, there were 2 attacks on our troops' positions in the area of the populated locality Krynky in the Kherson region. Over 15 populated areas, including Antonivka and Ponyativka in the Kherson region, were under artillery and mortar fire.
Russian losses
During the day, the Defense Forces aviation conducted strikes on 12 areas of concentration of personnel, weapons, and military equipment, and targeted one enemy anti-aircraft missile system.
Missile troops units inflicted damage on 2 areas of concentration of enemy personnel.
Attack on Ukraine on the night of April 11
Last night, terrorists once again resorted to a combined strike against our country. The main direction was the Lviv region.
Overall, the enemy employed 82 means of aerial attack, including dozens of missiles and 40 strike UAVs.
In total, 57 aerial targets were destroyed:
16 cruise missiles Kh-101/Kh-555;
39 strike UAVs of the Shahed-131/136 type;
2 guided aviation missiles Kh-59.
Additionally, during the massive attack, terrorists completely destroyed the Trypillia Thermal Power Plant located in the Kyiv region.
