Russian shelling of Ukraine

During the day, 66 combat clashes were recorded. In total, the enemy launched 7 missile and 73 aviation strikes, conducted 81 shelling attacks from reactive multiple rocket launch systems on the positions of our troops and civilian settlements.

As a result of Russian terrorist attacks, unfortunately, there are casualties and injuries among the civilian population. Multi-story and private houses, as well as other infrastructure objects, suffered destruction and damage.

Situation at frontlines

In the Volyn and Polissia direction, the operational situation remains unchanged, with no significant changes observed in the formation of enemy offensive groupings.

In the Siversk and Slobozhanske direction, the enemy maintains military presence in border areas, conducts sabotage-reconnaissance activities, shells civilian settlements from the territory of the Russian Federation, and increases the density of mine-explosive barriers along the state border of Ukraine.

The enemy carried out airstrikes in the vicinity of the populated area of Potykhonove in the Kharkiv region and the city of Kharkiv. Approximately 20 populated areas were subjected to artillery and mortar shelling by the enemy, including Karpovychi, Semenivka, and Yanzhulivka in the Chernihiv region; Iskryskivshchyna, Fotovyzh, and Bachivsk in the Sumy region; Kozacha Lopan, Strilecha, and Lukyantsi in the Kharkiv region.

In the Kupiansk direction, our defenders repelled 2 enemy attacks in the areas of the populated areas of Kyslivka in the Kharkiv region and Andriivka in the Luhansk region. The enemy carried out airstrikes in the areas of the populated areas of Ivanivka in the Kharkiv region and Novoselivske in the Luhansk region.

Approximately 15 populated areas, including Synkivka, Petropavlivka, and Stepova Novoselivka in the Kharkiv region, came under artillery and mortar fire.

In the Lyman direction, our soldiers repelled 3 enemy attacks in the area of the populated area of Terny in the Donetsk region, where the enemy, with the support of aviation, attempted to break through the defense of our troops. Additionally, the enemy carried out airstrikes in the areas of the populated areas of Tverdokhlibove in the Luhansk region; Yampolivka, and Torske in the Donetsk region.

More than 10 populated areas, including Nevske in the Luhansk region, and Terny, Yampolivka, Torske, and Zarichne in the Donetsk region, suffered from artillery and mortar shelling.

In the Bakhmut direction, our soldiers repelled 25 attacks in the areas of the populated areas of Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region; Verkhniokamyanske, Rozdolivka, Chasiv Yar, Novyi, Klishchiivka, and Andriivka in the Donetsk region, where the enemy, with the support of aviation, attempted to improve tactical positions.

The enemy also carried out airstrikes in the areas of the populated areas of Spirne, Kostiantynivka, Bila Hora, and Druzhba in the Donetsk region. More than 10 populated areas, including Hryhorivka, Bohdanivka, Kalynivka, and Chasiv Yar in the Donetsk region, came under artillery and mortar fire.

In the Avdiivka direction, our defenders repelled 6 attacks in the area of the populated area of Umanske in the Donetsk region, where the enemy attempted to dislodge our units from their occupied positions. The enemy carried out airstrikes in the areas of the populated areas of Kalynove, Semenivka, Novobakhmutivka, Berdychiv, and Netaylove in the Donetsk region.

Approximately 10 populated areas, including Novokalynove, Novobakhmutivka, and Semenivka in the Donetsk region, were subjected to artillery and mortar shelling.

In the Novopavlivka direction, the defense forces continue to hold back the enemy in the areas of the populated areas of Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Novomykhailivka, east of Vodyane, and Urozhaine, where the enemy, with the support of aviation, attempted to break through our troops' defense 20 times.

More than 10 populated areas, including Heorhiivka, Paraskoviivka, Kostiantynivka, and Vuhledar in the Donetsk region, came under artillery and mortar fire from the occupiers.

In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy, with the support of aviation, attacked our defenders' positions three times in the areas of Staromayorske in the Donetsk region and Robotyne in the Zaporizhzhia region.

Approximately 20 populated areas, including Poltavka, Malynivka, Bilohirya, Novodanilivka, and Shcherbaky in the Zaporizhzhia region, were subjected to artillery and mortar shelling.

In the Kherson direction, more than 15 populated areas, including Beryslav, Ivanivka, Krynky, and Novotyahynka in the Kherson region, suffered artillery and mortar shelling.

Situation on the left bank of the Dnipro River

The enemy persists in its intention to dislodge our units from the bridgeheads on the left bank of the Dnieper River.

Indeed, during the day, one attack was carried out on the positions of our troops in the area of the populated area of Krynky in the Kherson region.

Russian losses

During the day, the Defense Forces aviation conducted strikes on 15 areas of concentration of personnel, weaponry, and military equipment, as well as 2 enemy air defense missile systems.

Units of the missile troops inflicted damage on 1 area of concentration of personnel and 3 enemy air defense assets.

The total number of losses in the Russian army since the beginning of the invasion amounts to 449,250 military personnel.
