On the front line, there were 54 combat clashes, with Ukrainian soldiers repelling Russian attacks east of Chasiv Yar in the Donetsk region and damaging enemy Buk-M1 missile systems, according to data from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Russian shelling

The enemy continues its aggressive war. Despite significant losses, they do not abandon plans for the complete occupation of Ukraine, ignoring the laws and customs of war, using terrorist tactics, striking both military and civilian objects. The enemy actively employs aviation and FPV drones, conducts assault actions with armored support.

The operational situation in eastern and southern Ukraine remains difficult. During the day, there were 54 combat clashes. In total, the enemy launched 6 missile and 87 aviation strikes, conducted 32 shelling attacks from multiple launch rocket systems on our positions and populated areas.

Unfortunately, due to Russian terrorist attacks, there are casualties among the civilian population. Multi-story and private houses, as well as other infrastructure objects, suffered destruction and damage.

Frontline situation

On the Volyn and Polissia fronts, the operational situation remains unchanged, with no significant changes observed in the formation of enemy offensive groups.

On the Siversk and Slobozhanske fronts, the enemy maintains a military presence in border areas, conducts sabotage-reconnaissance activities, shells populated areas from the territory of the Russian Federation, and increases the density of mine-explosive obstacles along the state border of Ukraine. The enemy carried out an aviation strike in the area of the Progress village in the Chernihiv region.

Over 30 populated areas, including Klyusy, Kostobobriv, and Huta-Studenetska in the Chernihiv region; Katerynivka, Myropillia, and Seredyna-Buda in the Sumy region; Udy, Strilecha, and Starytsia in the Kharkiv region, were shelled by enemy artillery and mortars.

On the Kupiansk front, the enemy did not conduct offensive actions but delivered aviation strikes in the areas of Petropavlivka in the Kharkiv region and Kryvoshyyivka in the Luhansk region. Over 15 populated areas, including Synkivka, Petropavlivka, and Berestove in the Kharkiv region, came under artillery and mortar fire.

On the Lyman front, our troops repelled 7 enemy attacks in the areas of Terny in the Donetsk region and Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region, where the enemy, supported by aviation, attempted to break through our troops' defense. Additionally, the enemy carried out aviation strikes in the areas of Yampolivka and Fedorivka in the Donetsk region. Approximately 15 populated areas, including Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region, and Terni, Yampolivka, Spirne, and Rozdolivka in the Donetsk region, were affected by artillery and mortar shelling.

On the Bakhmut front, the Defense Forces repelled 5 enemy attacks in the areas of Klishchiivka, Andriivka, and Stupochky, east of Chasove Yar in the Donetsk region, where the enemy attempted to improve its tactical position. The enemy delivered aviation strikes in the area of Chasiv Yar in the Donetsk region. Approximately 10 populated areas, including Hryhorivka, Kalynivka, and Klishchiivka in the Donetsk region, were shelled by enemy artillery and mortars.

On the Avdiivka front, our defenders repelled 11 enemy attacks in the areas of Berdychiv, Orlivka, Tonenke, Pervomaiske, and Nevelske in the Donetsk region. The enemy carried out aviation strikes in the areas of Novokalynove, Novobakhmutivka, Zavitne, and Oleksandrivka in the Donetsk region. Approximately 15 populated areas, including Berdychiv, Semenivka, and Pervomaiske in the Donetsk region, were affected by artillery and mortar shelling.

On the Novopavlivka front, the Defense Forces continue to hold back the enemy in the areas of Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Novomykhailivka, and Pobieda in the Donetsk region, where the enemy, supported by aviation, attempted to break through our troops' defense 18 times. The enemy carried out aviation strikes in the areas of Novomykhailivka and Vodiane in the Donetsk region. Approximately 20 populated areas, including Krasnohorivka, Heorgiivka, Paraskeviivka, and Vuhledar in the Donetsk region, came under artillery and mortar fire.

On the Orihiv front, the enemy attacked our defenders' positions 5 times in the areas of Robotine, Staromaiorske, and northwest of Verbove in the Zaporizhzhia region. The enemy carried out aviation strikes in the areas of Staromaiorske in the Donetsk region and Novodanilivka and Robotyne in the Zaporizhzhia region. Approximately 20 populated areas, including Poltavka, Chervone, Robotyne, and Novodanilivka in the Zaporizhzhia region, were shelled by enemy artillery and mortars.

In the area of responsibility of the Odesa operational-strategic group on the Kherson front, the enemy did not conduct offensive actions during the day. Over 25 populated areas, including Kherson, Tiahinka, Ivanivka, and Krynky in the Kherson region, were shelled by enemy artillery and mortars.

Enemy losses

During the day, the defense forces' aviation conducted strikes on 8 areas of concentration of enemy personnel, weaponry, military equipment, and command posts.

Units of the missile forces inflicted damage on 2 areas of concentration of enemy personnel, weaponry, military equipment, the Buk-M1 surface-to-air missile system, and the 1L219 Zoopark radar complex.

The total number of losses suffered by the Russian army since the beginning of the invasion amounts to 424,980 military personnel.
