Ukrainian forces have reportedly eliminated another 920 Russian invaders in the past 24 hours, bringing the total casualties of the Russian army personnel to approximately 424,980 since the onset of the large-scale invasion. Additionally, Ukrainian troops have destroyed 8 Russian tanks, 33 artillery systems, and 2 air defense systems, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The overall Russian combat losses from February 24, 2022 to March 11, 2024 are estimated as follows:

  • Personnel: around 424,980 (+ 920 individuals)
  • Tanks: 6,739 (+ 8)
  • APV (Armored personnel vehicles): 12,874 (+ 24)
  • Artillery systems: 10,499 (+ 33)

Frontline situation

According to morning briefings from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, there were 64 combat engagements at the frontline over the course of the day. Military command highlighted that the enemy continues to exert pressure on two fronts in the Donetsk region.

It was also reported that the Defense Forces' aviation conducted strikes on 10 areas where enemy personnel, weaponry, and military equipment were concentrated, as well as on 1 anti-aircraft missile system of the adversary. Additionally, units of the missile forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces struck 2 areas where enemy personnel, weaponry, and military equipment were concentrated, 1 ammunition depot, 2 radio-electronic warfare stations, and 2 enemy air defense assets.
