Russian shelling

During the day, there were 73 skirmishes. Overall, the enemy launched 2 missile strikes and 79 airstrikes, and conducted 90 rocket artillery bombardments on the positions of our troops and civilian areas.

Unfortunately, due to Russian terrorist attacks, there are casualties among the civilian population. Multistory and private residences, as well as other infrastructure objects, have suffered destruction and damage.

Frontline situation

In the Volyn and Polissia directions, there have been no significant changes in the operational situation. There are no signs of the formation of advancing enemy groups. Identified units of the Armed Forces of Belarus are fulfilling tasks in border areas with Ukraine.

In the Siversk and Slobozhanske directions, the enemy maintains a military presence in border areas, conducts reconnaissance and sabotage activities, shells civilian settlements from Russian territory, and increases the density of mine-explosive barriers along the Ukrainian state border.

The enemy carried out airstrikes in the areas of populated settlements Bolohivka and Mytrofanivka in the Kharkiv region. More than 30 populated settlements were subjected to enemy artillery and mortar shelling, including Hirske and Karpovychi in the Chernihiv region; Nova Huta, Seredyna-Buda, Druzhba, Fotovysh, and Vorozhba in the Sumy region; Dvorichna, Synkivka, Petropavlivka, Ivanivka, and Berestove in the Kharkiv region."

In the Kupiansk direction, the Defense Forces repelled 2 enemy attacks in the areas of the populated settlements of Petropavlivka and Tabaivka in the Kharkiv region, where the enemy attempted to dislodge our troops from occupied positions. The enemy carried out an airstrike in the area of the populated settlement of Nadiya in the Luhansk region.

More than 10 populated settlements, including Dvorichna, Synkivka, Petropavlivka, Ivanivka, and Berestove in the Kharkiv region, came under enemy artillery and mortar fire.

In the Lyman direction, our troops repelled 11 enemy attacks in the areas of the populated settlements of Terny, Yampolivka in the Donetsk region, and Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region, where the enemy, with air support, attempted to breach the defense of our troops.

More than 10 populated settlements, including Nevseke in the Luhansk region and Terni, Torske, Serebrianka, Verkhniokamyanske, Spirne, and Rozdolivka in the Donetsk region, suffered from enemy artillery and mortar shelling.

In the Bakhmut direction, the Defense Forces repelled 2 enemy attacks in the areas of the populated settlements of Ivanivske and Klishchiivka in the Donetsk region, where the enemy attempted to improve its tactical position. The enemy carried out airstrikes in the areas of the populated settlements of Viroliubivka and Mykolaivka in the Donetsk region.

Close to 10 populated settlements, including Vasiukivka, Bohdanivka, Chasiv Yar, Ivanivske, Andriivka, and New York in the Donetsk region, came under enemy artillery and mortar fire.

In the Avdiivka direction, our defenders repelled 22 enemy attacks in the areas of the populated settlements of Berdychivka, Orlivka, Tonenke, Pervomaiske, and Nevelske in the Donetsk region. The enemy carried out airstrikes in the areas of the populated settlements of Oleksandrivka, Novooleksandrivka, Ocheretine, Novobakhmutivka, Soloviove, and Semenivka in the Donetsk region.

Around 20 populated settlements, including Ocheretine, Vovche, Berdychivka, Stepove, and Orlivka in the Donetsk region, were subjected to enemy artillery and mortar shelling.

In the Novopavlivka direction, the Defense Forces continue to hold back the enemy in the areas of the populated settlements of Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Pobieda, and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region, where the enemy, with air support, attempted to breach our troops' defense 22 times. The enemy also conducted airstrikes in the areas of the populated settlements of Kostiantynivka, Vodiane, Urozhainе, and Staryi Maiorskе in the Donetsk region, as well as Novodarivka in the Zaporizhzhia region.

Over 20 populated settlements, including Maksymilianivka, Heorhiivka, Novomykhailivka, Kostiantynivka, Blahodatne, Staryi Maiorskе, and Rivnopil in the Donetsk region, came under enemy artillery and mortar fire.

In the Orikhiv direction, the Defense Forces repelled an enemy attack in the area of Robotyne in the Zaporizhzhia region. The enemy carried out airstrikes in the areas of the populated settlements of Levadne, Mala Tokmachka, Robotyne, Novodanilivka, and Yurkivka in the Zaporizhzhia region.

Around 20 populated settlements, including Levadne, Poltavka, Huliapole, Mala Tokmachka, Novoandriivka, and Stepove in the Zaporizhzhia region, were subjected to enemy artillery and mortar shelling.

In the area of responsibility of the Odesa operational-strategic group in the Kherson direction, around 10 populated settlements, including the city of Kherson and Mykhailivka, Berislav, Ponyativka, and Inhulets in the Kherson region, came under enemy artillery and mortar fire.

Ukrainian Armed Forces offensive

The enemy is not abandoning its intention to dislodge our units from the bridgeheads on the right bank of the Dnipro River. During the day, there were 4 attempts to storm our troops' positions.

Enemy losses

During the day, the defense forces' aviation conducted strikes on 10 areas of enemy personnel concentration. Additionally, units of the Ukrainian Air Forces destroyed three Su-34 fighter-bombers. Missile forces units inflicted damage on 2 areas of enemy personnel concentration, weaponry, and military equipment, including 3 BM-21 "Grad" multiple rocket launchers, 1 ammunition depot, and 1 enemy radio-electronic warfare facility. It's worth noting that the total number of losses in the Russian army since the beginning of the invasion is 413,760 military personnel.
