Russian shelling

The enemy continues to wage an aggressive war. Despite significant losses, it does not abandon plans for the full occupation of Ukraine, ignores the laws and customs of war, uses terror tactics, and strikes military and civilian objects.

The adversary actively employs aviation and FPV-type quadcopters, and conducts assault operations with armored support. The operational situation in eastern and southern Ukraine remains challenging. There have been 79 clashes during the day.

Overall, the enemy inflicted 5 missile and 91 aviation strikes, and carried out 102 shelling attacks with reactive multiple rocket launchers on the positions of our troops and populated areas. Unfortunately, due to Russian terrorist attacks, there are casualties among the civilian population. Multistory and private houses, a church, and other infrastructure objects have suffered destruction and damage.

Frontline situation

In the Volyn and Polissia directions, there are no significant changes in the operational situation There are no signs of forming offensive groupings. Identified units of the Armed Forces of Belarus perform tasks in border areas with Ukraine.

In the Siversk and Slobozhanske directions, the enemy maintains military presence in border areas, conducts reconnaissance and sabotage activities, shells settlements from the territory of the Russian Federation, increases the density of mine-explosive obstacles along the state border of Ukraine.

The enemy carried out airstrikes in the areas of populated settlements Ploske, Budarky, and Varvariivka of the Kharkiv region. Artillery and mortar shelling by the enemy affected over 30 populated settlements, including Progress of the Chernihiv region; Fotovyzh, Seredyna-Buda, Stara Huta of the Sumy region; Strilecha, Lukyantsi, Starytsia, Vovchansk of the Kharkiv region.

In the Kupiansk direction, the Defense Forces repelled 1 enemy attack in the area of the settlement of Tabaiivka, where the enemy tried to dislodge our troops from occupied positions. The enemy carried out airstrikes in the areas of populated settlements Kupiansk and Synkivka of the Kharkiv region.

Approximately 10 populated settlements, including Zapadne, Synkivka, Ivanivka, Kotliarivka of the Kharkiv region, came under artillery and mortar fire.

In the Lyman direction, our soldiers repelled 6 enemy attacks in the areas of populated settlements Terny, Yampolivka of the Donetsk region, and Bilohorivka of the Luhansk region, where the enemy tried to break through the defense of our troops. The enemy carried out airstrikes in the areas of populated settlements Novoiehorivka, Makiivka, Bilohorivka of the Luhansk region; Terny and Rozdolivka of the Donetsk region.

Over 10 populated settlements, including Nevske, Bilohorivka of the Luhansk region, and Yampolivka, Torske, Rozdolivka of the Donetsk region, came under artillery and mortar fire.

In the Bakhmut direction, Defense Forces repelled 8 enemy attacks in the areas of the populated settlements of Ivanivske and Klishiivka in the Donetsk region, where the enemy attempted to improve its tactical position. The enemy conducted airstrikes in the areas of populated settlements Vasutynske and Chasiv Yar in the Donetsk region.

Additionally, around 10 populated settlements, including Hryhorivka, Chasiv Yar, Andriivka, and Druzhba in the Donetsk region, came under artillery and mortar fire.

In the Avdiivka direction, our defenders repelled 20 enemy attacks in the areas of populated settlements Berdychiv, Orlivka, Tonenke, Pervomaiske, and Nevelske in the Donetsk region. The enemy conducted airstrikes in the areas of populated settlements Oleksandrivka, Ocheretyne, Novobakhmutivka, Novoselivka Persha, Orlivka, and Netailove in the Donetsk region.

Approximately 20 populated settlements, including Keramik, Novokalynove, Novobakhmutivka, Semenivka, Orlivka, and Pervomaiske in the Donetsk region, came under enemy artillery and mortar fire.

In the Novopavlivka direction, Defense Forces continue to hold back the enemy in the areas of Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Staromaiorske, and Urozhaine in the Donetsk region, where the enemy, with aviation support, attempted to break through our troops' defense 25 times. The enemy also conducted airstrikes in the areas of populated settlements Kurakhove, Vuhledar, and Staryi Maidan in the Donetsk region, and Novodarivka in the Zaporizhzhia region.

Over 20 populated settlements, including Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Staromaiorske, Kostiantynivka, Vuhledar, Blahodatne, and Staryi Maidan in the Donetsk region, came under enemy artillery and mortar fire.

In the Orikhiv direction, Defense Forces repelled 1 enemy attack in the area east of Robotyne in the Zaporizhzhia region. The enemy conducted an airstrike in the area of the populated settlement of Malynivka in the Zaporizhzhia region.

Approximately 20 populated settlements, including Malynivka, Chervone, Mala Tokmachka, Novodanylivka, and Piatyhatky in the Zaporizhzhia region, came under enemy artillery and mortar fire.

In the zone of responsibility of the Odesa operational-strategic group in the Kherson direction, around 20 populated settlements, including Lvove, Poniativka in Kherson, and Antonivka in the Kherson region, were subjected to enemy artillery and mortar fire.

Ukrainian Armed Forces advance

The enemy persists in its intention to dislodge our units from the footholds on the left bank of the Dnipro.

During the day, there were 3 attempts to storm the positions of our troops.

Enemy losses

During the day, the defense forces' aviation struck at 7 areas of enemy personnel concentration.

Missile troops units inflicted damage on 1 command post, 1 area of personnel concentration, armaments, and military equipment, 4 artillery units, 1 anti-aircraft defense system, 1 EW station, and another 1 important target of the enemy.

The total number of losses in the Russian army since the beginning of the invasion is 412,610 military personnel.
