The operational situation in the east and south of Ukraine remains difficult. During the day, 52 combat clashes took place. IIn total, the enemy launched 13 missile strikes and 54 aerial attacks, conducting 37 shelling operations with multiple launch rocket systems on our troops' positions and civilian areas.
As a result of the Russian terrorist attacks, unfortunately, there are dead and wounded among the civilian population, among whom are children. High-rise and private buildings, as well as other civilian infrastructure, were destroyed and damaged.
The situation on the fronts
In the Volyn and Polissia directions, the operational situation has not changed significantly. There were no signs of the formation of offensive groups. Certain units of the Armed Forces of Belarus perform tasks in the border areas with Ukraine.
In the Siversk and Slobozhanske directions, the enemy maintains a military presence in the border areas, conducts sabotage and intelligence activities, attacks populated areas from the territory of the Russian Federation and increases the density of mine and explosive barriers along the state border of Ukraine.
The enemy launched an airstrike in the area of Starytsa settlement of the Kharkiv region. More than 20 settlements were hit by enemy artillery and mortar fire, including Karpovychi, the Chernihiv region; Stara Huta, Bachivsk, Volfyne, Kindrativka, Myropyllya, Grabovskoe, Popivka of the Sumy region; Udy, Strelecha, Vovchansk, Budarky, Chugunivka, Topoli of the Kharkiv region.

More than 15 settlements, including Dvorichna, Synkivka, Petropavlivka, Ivanivka, and Berestov in the Kharkiv region, came under artillery and mortar fire.
In the Lyman direction, our soldiers repelled 3 enemy attacks in the area of Terny settlement of Donetsk region, where the enemy unsuccessfully tried to break through the defenses of our troops. The enemy carried out an airstrike in the area of the settlement of Bilohorivka, Luhansk region.
About 10 settlements were affected by artillery and mortar shelling, among them Nevske, Bilohorivka, Serebryansk Forestry of Luhansk region and Terny, Torske, Serebryanka, Verkhnyokamianske, Rozdolivka of the Donetsk region.
In the Bakhmut direction, the Defense Forces repelled 3 enemy attacks in the areas of Ivanivske and Klishchiivka settlements of the Donetsk region, where the enemy tried to improve the tactical position.
About 10 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire, including Vasyukivka, Bogdanivka, Chasiv Yar, Ivanivske, Klishchiivka, New York of the Donetsk region.
In the Avdiivka direction, our defenders repelled 17 attacks in the area of Avdiivka settlement and another 5 attacks in the areas of Pervomaiskyi, Nevelske, the Donetsk region, where the enemy, with the support of aviation, tried to break through the defense of our troops. Also, the enemy carried out an airstrike in the area of the settlement of Oleksandropol, Donetsk region.
About 15 settlements, including Keramik, Ocheretyne, Novobakhmutivka, Lastochkyne, Avdiivka, and Karlivka of the Donetsk region, were hit by enemy artillery and mortar attacks.
In the Maryinka direction, the Defense Forces continue to hold back the enemy in the areas of Georgiyivka, Pobyeda and Novomykhailivka of the Donetsk region, where the occupiers tried to improve their tactical position 11 times.
The enemy carried out airstrikes in the areas of Kurakhove and Novomykhailivka settlements of the Donetsk region. Such settlements of the Donetsk region as Krasnohorivka, Kurakhove, Pobieda, Novomykhailivka, Katerynivka, Yelyzavetivka came under artillery and mortar fire from the occupiers.
In the Shakhtarsk direction, the enemy did not conduct offensive actions. They
carried out airstrikes in the Vodiane, Staromayorske, and Rivnopil settlements of the Donetsk region.
About 10 settlements, including Vodyane, Vugledar, Prechistivka, Blahodatne, Staromayorske, and Rivnopil of the Donetsk region, were hit by artillery and mortar attacks.
In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the defense forces repelled an attack west of Verbove Zaporizhzhia region, where the enemy unsuccessfully tried to break through the defenses of our troops. The enemy carried out airstrikes in the areas of settlements of Novodarivka, Orihiv, Zaporizhzhia region.
More than 20 settlements, including Levadne, Hulyaipole, Charivne, Novodanilivka, Stepove, Kamianske of the Zaporizhzhia region, were hit by artillery and mortar attacks.
In the area of responsibility of the Odesa operational-strategic group in the Kherson direction, the city of Kherson and the settlements of Beryslav, Ingulets of the Kherson region and Ochakiv of the Mykolaiv region came under artillery and mortar fire.
The enemy carried out airstrikes in the areas of Kachkarivka and Chervyn Mayak settlements of the Kherson region.
Advancement of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
The enemy does not give up its intention to knock out our units from the bridgeheads on the left bank of the Dnipro River.
So, during the day, 1 unsuccessful attempt to storm the positions of our troops was made.
Enemy losses
During the day, the aviation of the Defense Forces struck 7 areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment of the enemy.
Units of the missile forces struck 2 ammunition depots and 2 artillery pieces of the enemy.
