The enemy continues to wage a war of aggression. Despite significant losses, he does not give up his plans for the complete occupation of Ukraine, ignores the laws and customs of war, uses terror tactics, strikes, and attacks both military and civilian objects.

The enemy is actively using aviation and FPV quadcopters, conducting assault operations with the support of armored vehicles. The operational situation in eastern and southern Ukraine remains difficult. During the day, 58 combat clashes took place.

The enemy launched 2 missile strikes, one of which was a Kh-59 guided air missile on the civilian infrastructure of Myrnohrad, the Donetsk region.

The occupiers also carried out 66 airstrikes and fired 38 rocket salvo fire systems at the positions of our troops and populated areas. As a result of the Russian terrorist attacks, unfortunately, there are wounded among the civilian population.

Residential private and multi-apartment buildings, a school, and other civil infrastructure were destroyed and damaged.

Frontline situation

In the Volyn and Polissia directions, the operational situation has not changed significantly. There were no signs of the formation of offensive groups. Certain units of the Armed Forces of Belarus perform tasks in the border areas with Ukraine.

In the Siversk and Slobozhanske directions, the enemy maintains a military presence in the border areas, conducts sabotage and intelligence activities, attacks populated areas from the territory of the Russian Federation, and increases the density of mine and explosive barriers along the state border of Ukraine.

The enemy carried out airstrikes in the areas of Vovchansk and Vilkhuvatka settlements of the Kharkiv region. More than 40 settlements, including Kliusy of the Chernihiv region, were hit by artillery and mortar fire from the enemy; Volfyne, Katerynivka, Volodymyrivka, Pysarivka of the Sumy region; Udy, Vovchansk, Mala Vovcha, the Kharkiv region.

In the Kupiansk direction, our defenders repelled 5 attacks near Ivanivka, the Kharkiv region, where the enemy tried to break through the defense of our troops. The occupiers also carried out airstrikes in the areas of Kolodyazne, Synkivka, and Pishchane settlements of the Kharkiv region.

About 15 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire, including Synkivka, Tabaivka, Ivanivka, and Berestovka in the Kharkiv region.

In the Lyman direction, our defenders repulsed an attack near Terniv, the Donetsk region, where the enemy, supported by aviation, unsuccessfully tried to break through the defenses of our troops. The enemy also carried out an airstrike in the Spirnyi district of the Donetsk region.

About 15 settlements were affected by enemy artillery and mortar shelling, among them Bilohorivka of the Luhansk region and Yampolivka, Verkhniokamianske, and Spirne of the Donetsk region.

In the Bakhmut direction, the Defense Forces repulsed an attack near Klishchiivka, Donetsk region, where the enemy unsuccessfully tried to improve the tactical position.

More than 10 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire, including Hryhorivka, Bogdanivka, Klishchiivka, Andriivka, and New York of the Donetsk region.

In the Avdiivka direction, our defenders repelled 15 attacks in the Avdiivka area and another 5 - near Pervomaiskyi and Nevelske in the Donetsk region, where the enemy, with the support of aviation, unsuccessfully tried to break through the defenses of our troops. The enemy also carried out airstrikes in the areas of the settlements of Sukha Balka, Novobakhmutivka, Novokalynove, Ocheretyne, and Orlivka of the Donetsk region.

More than 15 settlements, including Novobakhmutivka, Berdychi, Stepove, Avdiivka, Severne, and Nevelske of the Donetsk region, were hit by artillery and mortar attacks.

In the Maryinka direction, the Defense Forces continue to hold back the enemy near Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, and Novomykhailivka, the Donetsk region. Here, the occupiers, with the support of aviation, unsuccessfully tried to improve the tactical position 11 times. The enemy also carried out airstrikes in the Kostiantynivka and Yelyzavetivka districts of the Donetsk region.

Such settlements of the Donetsk region as Krasnohorivka, Kurakhove, Heorhiivka, Pobieda, Novomykhailivka, and Katerynivka came under artillery and mortar fire of the occupiers.

The enemy did not conduct offensive actions in the Shakhtarsk direction. Russian forces carried out airstrikes in the areas of Vugledar, Novodonetske and Staromayorske settlements of the Donetsk region.

About 10 settlements, including Vodyane, Vugledar, Prechistivka, and Zolota Nyva of the Donetsk region, were hit by artillery and mortar shelling.

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the Defense Forces repelled an enemy attack near Robotyne, Zaporizhzhia region. The invaders launched an airstrike in the Novodarivka region of the Zaporizhzhia region.

About 20 settlements, including Poltavka, Chervone, Charivne, Mala Tokmachka, Robotyne, and Kamianske of the Zaporizhzhia region, were hit by artillery and mortar attacks.

In the Kherson direction, the enemy carried out airstrikes in the areas of the settlements of Novokayri, Chervyn Mayak, Novoberyslav, Beryslav, and Krynka of the Kherson region. The city of Kherson and Solonchaky, Ochakiv of the Mykolaiv region were subjected to artillery shelling by the occupiers.

The enemy also shelled the areas of Olhivka, Krynka, Tyaginka, Ivanivka, Novotyaginka, Tokarivka, Chornobaivka settlements of the Kherson region with rocket salvo systems.

Advance of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

The enemy does not give up its intention to knock out the Ukrainian units from the bridgeheads on the left bank of the Dnipro River.

Thus, 13 unsuccessful attempts to storm the positions of our troops were made during the day.

Losses of the enemy

During the day, the aviation of the Defense Forces struck 13 areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment and 1 anti-aircraft missile complex of the enemy.

Units of the missile forces struck 2 areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment, 4 artillery units and the enemy's electronic warfare station.

Also, on the night of February 1, a missile boat of the 41st missile boat brigade of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation was destroyed in the western part of the temporarily occupied Crimea by the forces of the GUR of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

The total number of losses of the Russian army since the beginning of the invasion is 386,230 soldiers.
