Russia-Ukraine war: Frontline update as of January 25

Russian invaders launched six assaults on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the left bank of the Dnipro. However, they proved to be unsuccessful, reports the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook.
Russian attacks
The operational situation in the east and south of Ukraine remains complex.
During the day, there were 65 military clashes. The enemy launched two missiles and 18 air strikes, conducted 49 artillery shelling on the positions of Ukrainian forces and civilian settlements.
As a result of Russian terrorist attacks, there are casualties and injuries among the civilian population. Private residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure have suffered destruction and damage.
Frontline situation
On the Volyn and Polissia fronts, the operational situation remains unchanged with no significant changes. No signs of the formation of offensive groups have been detected. Identified units of the Belarusian armed forces are carrying out tasks in border areas with Ukraine.
On the Siversk and Slobozhanske fronts, the enemy maintains a military presence in border areas, conducts sabotage and reconnaissance activities, shells settlements from Russian territory, and increases the density of mine-explosive barriers along the state border of Ukraine.
On the Kupiansk front, our defenders repelled five attacks near Synkivka in the Kharkiv region and Stelmakhivka in the Luhansk region, where the enemy tried to break through the defense of Ukrainian forces.
On the Lyman front, Ukrainian soldiers repelled two Russian attacks near Torskoye in the Donetsk region and two more attacks near Makiivka in the Luhansk region.
On the Bakhmut front, the defense forces repelled seven attacks near Bohdanivka, Ivanivka, and Andriivka in the Donetsk region, where the enemy unsuccessfully attempted to improve tactical positions.
On the Avdiivka front, our defenders repelled five attacks near Novobakhmutivka, Avdiivka, and four more attacks in the areas of Pervomaiske and Nevelske in the Donetsk region, where the enemy unsuccessfully tried to break through the defense of Ukrainian forces.
On the Maryinka front, defense forces continue to restrain the enemy near Heorhiivka, Pobieda, and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region. The enemy made 20 unsuccessful attempts to improve tactical positions.
On the Shakhtarsk front, Ukrainian defenders repelled six attacks by occupiers southeast of Vodiane, Zolota Nyva, and west of Staromaiorske in the Donetsk region.
On the Zaporizhzhia front, Ukrainian defenders repelled three Russian attacks southeast of Robotyne in the Zaporizhzhia region.
In the area of responsibility of the Odesa operational-strategic group on the Kherson front, the enemy carried out an air strike in the region of the settlement Stavky in the Mykolaiv region.
Advancement of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
The Russians do not abandon their intention to dislodge our units from the bridgeheads on the left bank of the Dnipro. During the day, the enemy carried out six unsuccessful assaults on the positions of Ukrainian forces.
