Ukrainian military repelled 35 enemy attacks on the Avdiivka front, holding off the adversary on the Maryinka front. Missile forces targeted two enemy ammunition depots, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Russian attacks

Over the past day, there have been 98 clashes. In total, the enemy delivered 4 missile and 29 aviation strikes, conducting 49 shelling attacks with multiple launch rocket systems on the positions of our troops and populated areas.

At the end of the previous day, Russian occupiers launched missile strikes on the central part of the city of Kharkiv. Unfortunately, civilian casualties have occurred as a result of Russian terrorist attacks. Hospitals, private houses, and multi-apartment residential buildings, as well as other civilian infrastructure, have suffered damage and destruction.

The following areas experienced aviation strikes:

  • Vovchansk, the Kharkiv region
  • Orlivka, Avdiivka, Kostiantynivka, Novomykhailivka, Vodiane, the Donetsk region
  • Mala Tokmachka, Preobrazhenka, Orihiv, the Zaporizhzhia region.

Over 120 populated areas in the Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson, and Mykolaiv regions came under artillery fire.

Situation at the frontlines

In the Volyn and Polissia directions, the operational situation remains unchanged.

In the Siversk and Slobozhanske directions, the adversary maintains military presence in border areas, actively engages in sabotage activities to prevent the transfer of our troops to vulnerable directions, and increases the density of mine-explosive barriers along the state border in the Belgorod region.

In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy did not conduct offensive (assault) operations.

In the Lyman direction, our defenders repelled 11 enemy attacks in the areas of Terniv, Yampolivka, and Torske of the Donetsk region, as well as 17 attacks near Makiivka, Bilohorivka, Serebrianske Forestry of the Luhansk region, and north of Hryhorivka, Vesele of the Donetsk region.

In the Bakhmut direction, our soldiers repelled 9 attacks by occupiers near Ivanivka, Klishchiivka, and Andriivka of the Donetsk region.

In the Avdiivka direction, Ukrainian defenders continue to restrain the enemy, who persists in attempting to encircle Avdiivka. Our troops hold the defense steadfastly, inflicting significant losses on the aggressors.

Over the past day, defense forces repelled 20 enemy attacks in Novobakhmutivka, Stepove, and Avdiivka and another 15 attacks near Pervomaiske and Nevelske of the Donetsk region.

In the Maryinka direction, our defenders continue to hold off the enemy near Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Maryinka, and Novomykhailivka of the Donetsk region, where 17 attacks were repelled.

In the Shakhtarsk direction, occupiers did not engage in offensive (assault) actions.

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, defense forces repelled an enemy attack west of Verbove in the Zaporizhzhia region.

In the Kherson direction, defense forces continue to expand their foothold. Despite significant losses, the enemy persists in attempting to dislodge our units from their positions. Over the past day, the enemy launched 6 unsuccessful assaults on our troops' positions.

Meanwhile, Ukrainian troops continue active actions to inflict losses on the occupation forces in personnel and equipment, wearing down the enemy along the entire front line.

Enemy losses

Over the past day, the Defense Forces' aviation struck one concentration area of personnel, weapons, and military equipment of the enemy. Also, using anti-aircraft defense means, one guided aviation missile, Kh-59, was destroyed.

Units of the missile troops inflicted strikes on one concentration area of personnel, 2 command points, and 2 ammunition depots of the enemy.

The total number of losses in the Russian army since the beginning of the invasion is 372,090 military personnel.
