The Russian Federation continues its aggressive war. Despite significant losses, it persists in its plans for the complete occupation of Ukraine. The adversary continues to disregard the laws and customs of war, employing terror tactics, launching attacks, and shelling both military and civilian objects.

The enemy actively utilizes operational-tactical aviation and FPV-type quadcopters, conducting assault operations with the support of armored vehicles.

During the past 24 hours, there were 64 military clashes. In total, the enemy conducted 1 missile and 29 aviation strikes, as well as 17 shelling incidents using reactive volley fire systems on the positions of our forces and civilian settlements.

Regrettably, due to Russian terrorist attacks, there are casualties and injuries among the civilian population. Private residential and multi-apartment buildings, as well as other civilian infrastructure, have suffered destruction and damage.

Frontline situation

The operational situation in the east and south of Ukraine remains complex.

In the Volyn and Polissia directions, the enemy maintains military presence in border regions, conducts sabotage and reconnaissance activities, shells populated areas from Russian territory, and increases the density of mine-explosive obstacles along the state border of Ukraine.

The adversary also conducted an airstrike in the area of Veselyi in the Kharkiv region. Approximately 25 populated areas, including Karpovychi and Hremyach in the Chernihiv region; Volfyne, Kyndrativka, and Stepok in the Sumy region; Udy, Vovchansk, and Mala Vovcha in the Kharkiv region, were subjected to enemy artillery and mortar shelling.

In the Siversk and Slobozhanske directions, the enemy maintains military presence in border regions, conducts sabotage-reconnaissance activities, shells populated areas from the territory of the Russian Federation, and increases the density of mine-explosive obstacles along the state border of Ukraine.

Approximately 15 populated areas, including Popivka in the Chernihiv region; Znob-Trubchevska, Seredyna-Buda, Marchykha Buda, Vovkivka in the Sumy region; Hatysche, Bochkove, Dvorichanske in Kharkiv region, experienced enemy artillery and mortar shelling.

In the Kupiansk direction, Defense Forces repelled four enemy attacks in the area of Synkivka in the Kharkiv region, where the adversary unsuccessfully attempted to improve their tactical position.

The enemy also conducted aviation strikes in the regions of Petropavlivka, Ivanivka, Tabaiivka, Pisky, and Berestove in the Kharkiv region. Approximately 10 populated areas, including Synkivka, Tabaiivka, Ivanivka, and Berestove in the Kharkiv region, came under artillery and mortar fire.

In the Lyman direction, our defenders repelled four enemy attacks in the areas east of Terniv and Veseloye in the Donetsk region. The adversary also carried out an aviation strike in the Novyi area of the Donetsk region.

Over 10 populated areas, including Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region and Yampolivka, Verkhniokamyanske, and Spirne in the Donetsk region, suffered from enemy artillery and mortar shelling.

In the Bakhmut direction, Defense Forces repelled three enemy attacks in the areas of Klishchiivka and Andriivka in the Donetsk region. Over 10 populated areas, including Hryhorivka, Bohdanivka, Klishchiivka, and Andriivka in the Donetsk region, came under artillery and mortar fire.

In the Avdiivka direction, our defenders repelled 10 enemy attacks in the areas of Novobakhmutivka, Avdiivka, Siverske, and another 11 attacks in the areas of Pervomaiske and Nevelske in the Donetsk region, where the enemy, with aviation support, unsuccessfully attempted to improve their tactical position.

The enemy also conducted an aviation strike in the area of Oleksandrivka in the Donetsk region. Approximately 15 populated areas, including Novobakhmutivka, Berdychiv, Stepove, Avdiivka, Siverske, and Nevelske in the Donetsk region, were subjected to enemy artillery and mortar shelling.

In the Maryinka direction, Defense Forces continue to restrain the enemy in the areas of Heorhiivka, Pobieda, and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region. The enemy, with aviation support, unsuccessfully attempted 14 times to break through the defense of our troops. The towns of Heorhiivka, Pobieda, Novomykhailivka, and Paraskevivka in the Donetsk region came under enemy artillery and mortar fire.

In the Shakhtarsk direction, defenders repelled an enemy attack in the area of Staromykhailivka in the Donetsk region. Over 10 populated areas, including Vuhledar, Prechystivka, Zolota Niva, and Staromykhailivka in the Donetsk region, were subjected to enemy artillery and mortar shelling.

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the enemy did not engage in offensive (assault) actions. Over 15 populated areas, including Poltavka, Chervone, Charivne, Mala Tokmachka, Robotine, and Kamyanske in the Zaporizhzhia region, came under enemy artillery and mortar fire.

In the operational zone of operational-strategic group Odesa in the Kherson direction, enemy artillery shelling affected Vesele, Kozatske, Ivanivka, Dniprovske, Stanislav, the regional center of the Kherson region, as well as Solonchaky and Yaselka in the Mykolaiv region.

Advance of the Ukrainian Armed Forces

The enemy persists in its intention to dislodge our units from the bridgeheads on the left bank of the Dnipro River.

During the day, the adversary carried out 9 unsuccessful assault actions on the positions of our troops, but our units continue to hold their occupied positions and inflict significant losses on the enemy.

Enemy losses

During the day, the defense forces' aviation conducted strikes in 9 areas of concentration of enemy personnel.

Missile forces units inflicted damage in the area of concentration of enemy personnel, weaponry, military equipment, and targeted 2 enemy artillery units.

It is worth noting that the total number of losses in the Russian army since the beginning of the invasion is 365,990 military personnel.
