Ukrainian forces repelled 32 enemy attacks on the Avdiivka front and continue efforts to expand the foothold on the Kherson front. Aviation targeted 4 enemy artillery units, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Russian attacks

During the past day, there were 59 armed clashes. The enemy, in total, delivered 7 missile strikes and 36 air strikes, conducting 37 artillery shelling using rocket systems with barrage fire on the positions of our troops and populated areas.

As a result of Russian terrorist attacks, unfortunately, there are casualties and injuries among the civilian population. Residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure have suffered destruction and damage.

During the night, Russian occupiers once again attacked Ukraine with strike UAVs of the Shahed-136/131 type. The Ukrainian air defense forces are actively engaged in combat, and the results will be reported later.

Aerial strikes were carried out in:

  • Novomykhailivka, Heorhiivka, the Donetsk region
  • Novodarivka, Orihiv, the Zaporizhzhia region
  • Zmiivka, the Kherson region.

Approximately 100 populated areas in the Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson, and Mykolaiv regions came under artillery fire.

Situation at the frontlines

In the Volyn and Polissia directions, the operational situation remains unchanged.

In the Siversk and Slobozhanske directions, the adversary maintains military presence in border areas, actively conducts sabotage activities to prevent the redeployment of our forces to critical directions, and increases the density of mine-explosive obstacles along the state border in the Belgorod region.

In the Kupiansk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled four attacks by occupiers near Synkivka and east of Petropavlivka in the Kharkiv region.

In the Lyman direction, the enemy did not engage in offensive (assault) actions.

In the Bakhmut direction, our soldiers repelled four enemy attacks in the areas of Bohdanivka, Klyshchiivka, and Andriivka in the Donetsk region.

In the Avdiivka direction, Ukrainian defenders continue to restrain the enemy, which persists in attempting to encircle Avdiivka. Our soldiers steadfastly hold the defense, inflicting significant losses on the invaders.

Over the past day, the defense forces repelled 16 attacks near Novobakhmutivka, Stepove, and Avdiivka, as well as another 16 attacks in the areas of Pervomaiske and Nevelske in the Donetsk region.

In the Maryinka direction, our defenders continue to hold back the enemy near Maryinka and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region, where 7 attacks were repelled.

In the Shakhtarsk direction, the occupiers did not engage in offensive (assault) actions.

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the defense forces repelled 8 enemy attacks in the area of Robotyne and northwest of Verbove in the Zaporizhzhia region.

In the Kherson direction, Ukrainian soldiers continue efforts to expand the foothold. Despite significant losses, the enemy persists in attempting to dislodge our units from their positions. Over the past day, the adversary conducted 6 unsuccessful storming actions.

Simultaneously, our troops actively engage in actions to inflict casualties on the occupying forces in terms of personnel and equipment, wearing down the enemy along the entire front line.

Enemy losses

During the past day, the Defense Forces aviation carried out strikes in 10 concentrations of personnel and targeted 2 enemy command points.

Missile units targeted the air defense system, concentration areas of personnel, weaponry, and military equipment, destroying 4 artillery pieces, 2 radio-electronic warfare stations, and 3 enemy command points.

The total number of losses in the Russian army since the beginning of the invasion is 362,280 military personnel.
