Russia's losses in Ukraine as of January 4: 780 troops, dozens of tanks

Russia's losses in the war against Ukraine as of Thursday morning, January 4, amounted to 780 occupants, bringing the total number of Russian army losses since the beginning of the invasion to 36,280. In addition, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed 12 tanks, 28 artillery systems, and 32 vehicles, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The total combat losses of the enemy from 24.02.22 to 04.01.24 are estimated to be
- personnel - about 362,280 (+780) Russians were killed;
- tanks - 6002 (+12) units;
- armored combat vehicles - 11128 (+21) units;
- artillery systems - 8574 (+28) units;
- MLRS - 947 (+2) units;
- air defense systems - 630 (+1) units;
- airplanes - 329 units;
- helicopters - 324 units;
- UAVs of operational and tactical level - 6753 (+5) units;
- cruise missiles - 1785 (+2) units;
- ships/boats - 23 units;
- submarines - 1 unit;
- motor vehicles and tankers - 11423 (+32) units;
- special equipment - 1304 (+6) units.
The situation at the frontline
Ukrainian troops repelled 14 enemy attacks in the Maryinka direction and are holding back the enemy in the Avdiivka direction. Aviation hit 12 areas of enemy concentration. In particular, the Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to expand their bridgehead in the Kherson region.
