Ukrainian soldiers are holding positions on the left bank of the Dnipro, deterring Russians near Maryinka, and have struck two ammunition depots of the occupiers, according to the data from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Russian shelling

The enemy continues to ignore laws and norms of war, employing tactics of terror, striking both military and civilian objects.

The adversary is actively using operational-tactical aviation and FPV-type quadcopters, conducting assault actions with armored vehicles.

Over the past day, there have been 42 combat engagements. The enemy delivered 2 missiles and 40 aviation strikes, conducting 33 rocket artillery strikes on our troops' positions and civilian areas.

Due to Russian terrorist attacks, unfortunately, there are casualties and injuries among the civilian population. Private residential buildings, hospitals, and other civilian infrastructure have suffered destruction and damage.

The situation on the fronts

In the Volyn and Polissia directions, there are no significant changes in the operational situation. No signs of forming offensive groupings have been detected. Identified units of the Belarusian Armed Forces are performing tasks in border areas with Ukraine.

In the Siversk and Slobozhanske directions, the enemy maintains a military presence in border areas, conducts sabotage and reconnaissance activities, shells settlements from the territory of the Russian Federation, and increases the density of mine-explosive barriers along the state border of Ukraine.

More than 20 settlements, including Klusy, Leonivka, and Buchky in the Chernihiv region; Seredyna-Buda, Studenok, Volfyne, Myropillia, Uhroidy, Riasne, Popivka in the Sumy region; Udy, Vovchansk, Mala Vovcha, Budarky, Kamianka in the Kharkiv region, have been subjected to artillery and mortar shelling by the enemy.

In the Kupiansk direction, the defenders repelled 12 enemy attacks in the vicinity of Synkivka in the Kharkiv region. The enemy also delivered aviation strikes near Petropavlivka and Hlushkivka in the Kharkiv region.

Approximately 10 settlements, including Dvorichna, Synkivka, Petropavlivka, Ivanivka, and Berestove in the Kharkiv region, were under enemy artillery and mortar fire.

In the Lyman direction, the enemy did not conduct offensive (assault) actions. They delivered aviation strikes in the areas of Nevsky, Novoliubivka, and Serebrianske Forestry in the Luhansk region, and Terni, Kolodyzhi, Yamoplivka, Siversk, Spirne, Pereizne in the Donetsk region.

More than 10 settlements, including Nevsky, Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region, and Torske, Serebrianka, Verkhniokamianske, Spirne, and Rozdolivka in the Donetsk region, suffered from enemy artillery and mortar shelling.

In the Bakhmut direction, our defenders repelled 3 enemy attacks near Bohdanivka and Andriivka in the Donetsk region, where the enemy unsuccessfully tried to break through our troops' defense.

Approximately 10 settlements, including Vasiukivka, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Kalynivka, Ivanivske, and Stupochky, New York in the Donetsk region, were under enemy artillery and mortar fire.

In the Avdiivka direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 11 enemy attacks east of Novobakhmutivka and Avdiivka, and another 10 attacks in the areas of Pervomaiske and Nevelske in the Donetsk region, where the enemy, supported by aviation, unsuccessfully attempted to break through our troops' defense.

Approximately 10 settlements, including Ocheretyn, Berdychiv, Stepove, Avdiivka, Severne, and Pervomaiske in the Donetsk region, suffered from enemy artillery and mortar fire.

In the Maryinka direction, the defense forces continue to hold back the enemy in the areas of Maryinka and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region. Here, the enemy made two unsuccessful attacks on our defenders' positions.

Under artillery and mortar fire were Hostre, Heorhiivka, Pobeda, Novomykhailivka, and Kostiantynivka.

In the Shakhtarsk direction, the enemy did not conduct offensive (assault) actions. They delivered an aviation strike in the area of the settlement of Staromaiorske in the Donetsk region.

Approximately 10 settlements, including Vuhledar, Prechystivka, Blahodatne, Urozhaine, Makarivka, and Rivnopil in the Donetsk region, were subjected to artillery and mortar shelling.

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the Defense Forces repelled 2 attacks in the areas of Robitne and south of Novodarivka in the Zaporizhzhia region. Here, with the support of aviation, the enemy unsuccessfully attempted to displace our units from their occupied positions.

More than 20 settlements, including Levadne, Poltavka, Zaliznychne, Mala Tokmachka, Shcherbaky, and Kamianske in the Zaporizhzhia region, suffered from enemy artillery and mortar shelling.

In the area of responsibility of the Operational-Strategic Grouping of Troops Odesa in the Kherson direction, settlements such as Zolota Balka, Tiahynka, Ivanivka, Novotiahynka, Kherson, Sofiivka, and Stanislav in the Kherson region experienced enemy artillery shelling.

The offensive by the Ukrainian Armed Forces

The enemy persists in its intention to dislodge our units from the bridgeheads on the left bank of the Dnipro River. Over the past day, the adversary attempted 13 unsuccessful assaults on our troops' positions, facing robust resistance and suffering significant losses.

Ukrainian soldiers maintain their defense staunchly, continue to hold occupied positions and inflict fire damage on the enemy.

Russia's combat losses

During the day, the Defense Forces' aviation struck 17 areas concentrated with personnel, weaponry, military equipment, and targeted 2 anti-aircraft missile complexes of the enemy.

Missile forces units hit 2 areas with concentrations of personnel, equipment, 4 artillery units, and 2 ammunition depots of the enemy.

The total number of losses suffered by the Russian army since the beginning of the invasion amounts to 356,670 military personnel.
