In Ukraine, 95 combat engagements were registered in the frontline over the last day. Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to repel Russian attacks near Avdiivka and in the Maryinka direction, according to the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Russian attacks

In total, the enemy launched 2 missile and 13 air strikes and fired 63 times from multiple launch rocket systems at the positions of our troops and populated areas. Russian terrorist attacks have resulted in deaths and injuries among the civilian population. Private homes and other civilian infrastructure were destroyed and damaged.

In addition, over the past day, the Russian Federation once again attacked Ukraine, using 10 Shahed-136/131 UAVs. The Ukrainian air defense forces destroyed all attack UAVs.

Also, the Russian occupiers launched another missile attack on Kyiv using 10 missiles (S-400 anti-aircraft guided missiles, Iskander cruise missiles). The Ukrainian air defense forces destroyed all the missiles. The consequences of the attack are being clarified.

Novomykhailivka and Kostiantynivka in the Donetsk region came under air strikes.

More than 130 settlements in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro, and Kherson regions came under artillery fire.

The situation at the frontlines

The operational situation remains unchanged in the Volyn and Polissya directions.

In the Siversk and Slobozhanske directions, the Russians maintain a military presence in the border areas, conduct active sabotage activities to prevent the deployment of our troops to threatened areas and increase the density of minefields along the state border in the Belgorod region.

In the Kupiansk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled eight enemy attacks in the areas of Synkivka, Petropavlivka, and Ivanivka in the Kharkiv region.

In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled two enemy attacks near Makiivka, Luhansk region.

In the Bakhmut direction, our troops repelled 5 enemy attacks in the areas of Bohdanivka, Ivanivske, Klishchiivka, and Andriivka in the Donetsk region. The Ukrainian defense forces continue to inflict losses in manpower and equipment on the enemy and are consolidating their positions.

In the Avdiivka direction, Ukrainian defenders continue to hold back the enemy, who is making attempts to encircle Avdiivka. Our soldiers are steadfastly holding the line, inflicting significant losses on the enemy. Ukrainian defense forces successfully repelled 51 enemy attacks in the areas east of Novokalynove, east of Novobakhmutivka, Stepove, Avdiivka, south of Severne, south of Tonenke, Pervomaiske and Nevelske in the Donetsk region.

In the Maryinka direction, Ukrainian defense forces continue to hold back the enemy near Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region, where our defenders repelled 13 attacks.

In the Shakhtarsk direction, the enemy did not conduct any offensive (assault) actions.

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled eight enemy attacks in the areas north of Pryiutne, west of Verbove, and south of Robotyno in the Zaporizhzhia region. At the same time, in the Melitopol direction, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to inflict losses in manpower and equipment on the occupation forces, depleting the enemy along the entire front line.

In the Kherson direction, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to hold their positions on the left bank of the Dnipro River, conduct counter-battery combat, and inflict fire on the enemy's rear.

Russia's losses

Over the past day, the aviation of the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck at the area of concentration of enemy personnel, weapons, and military equipment.

Missile troops struck 2 control points, 3 areas of concentration of personnel, weapons, and military equipment, and 2 enemy ammunition depots.
