Ukrainian troops repelled 49 enemy attacks in the Avdiivka direction, hold their positions on the left bank of the Dnipro River, and destroyed the enemy's ammunition depot, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Russian shelling
In total, the enemy launched 3 missile and 61 air strikes and fired 67 times from multiple launch rocket systems at the positions of our troops and settlements.
Unfortunately, Russian terrorist attacks have resulted in civilian casualties. Private houses and other civilian infrastructure were destroyed and damaged.
Yesterday, the Russian occupants launched an air strike against Ukraine, using 18 Shahed-136/131 attack UAVs. The Ukrainian air defense forces destroyed all 18 enemy drones.
Also, on this day, the Russian occupiers struck again at Kyiv. The consequences of the attack are being clarified.
The following areas were affected by the air strikes:
- Petropavlivka, Pishchane, Pershotravneve, Cherneshchyna, Druzheliubivka in Kharkiv region;
- Tverdokhlibove, Makiivka, Serebrianske forestry in Luhansk region;
- Terny, Kolodiazi, Chasiv Yar, Toretsk, Kalynove, Ocheretyne, Novopokrovske, Avdiivka, Novomykhailivka in Donetsk region.
More than 100 settlements in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro, Kherson, and Mykolaiv regions came under artillery fire.
The situation at the frontlines
The operational situation in the Volyn and Polissia directions remains unchanged.
In the Siversk and Slobozhanske directions, the enemy maintains a military presence in the border areas, conducts active sabotage activities to prevent the deployment of our troops to threatened areas, and increases the density of minefields along the state border in the Belgorod region.
In the Kupiansk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled four enemy attacks in the vicinity of Synkivka and Petropavlivka in the Kharkiv region.
In the Lyman direction, our defenders repelled 5 enemy attacks near Terny, Vesele in the Donetsk region, and Makiivka in the Luhansk region.
In the Bakhmut direction, our troops repelled 13 enemy attacks in the areas of Hryhorivka, Bohdanivka, Ivanivske, Klishchiyivka, and Andriivka in the Donetsk region.
The Ukrainian defense forces continue their assault operations south of Bakhmut in the Donetsk region, inflicting losses in manpower and equipment on the enemy, and consolidating their positions.
In the Avdiivka direction, Ukrainian defenders continue to hold back the enemy, who is making attempts to encircle Avdiivka. Our soldiers are steadfastly holding the line, inflicting significant losses on the enemy.
Ukrainian defense forces successfully repelled 49 enemy attacks in the areas of Novobakhmutivka, Stepove, Avdiivka, south of Severne, and Tonenke, Pervomayske in the Donetsk region.
In the Maryinka direction, Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to hold back the enemy in the areas of Maryinka and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region, where our defenders repelled 18 attacks.
In the Shakhtarsk direction, our defenders repelled all enemy attacks in the area southeast of Vuhledar, Donetsk region.
In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the Defense Forces repelled 3 enemy attacks near Robotyno, Zaporizhzhia region.
Ukrainian Armed Forces offensive
In the Melitopol direction, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to inflict losses in manpower and equipment on the occupation forces, depleting the enemy along the entire front line.
In the Kherson direction, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to hold their positions on the left bank of the Dnipro River, continue to conduct counter-battery combat, and inflict fire on the enemy's rear.
Enemy losses
The missile troops struck 3 areas of concentration of personnel, weapons, and military equipment and 1 ammunition depot of the enemy.
The total number of losses of the Russian army since the beginning of the invasion is 338,820.
