The Ukrainian military in the Melitopol direction continues to actively inflict losses on the enemy and exhaust terrorists along the entire front line, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Russian attacks
During the past day, 60 combat clashes took place. In particular, the enemy:
- launched 1 missile strike;
- carried out 8 air strikes;
- fired 34 times from multiple rocket launchers.
"Last day, the Russian occupiers once again attacked Ukraine, using the Kh-59 guided missile and the Shahed-136/131 type attack UAV. The forces and means of air defense of Ukraine destroyed 1 Kh-59 guided missile, the enemy drone did not reach its target," the press service writes.
In particular, today terrorists used 2 S-300 anti-aircraft guided missiles on the territory of Velykyi Burluk of Kharkiv region.
More than 120 settlements came under artillery fire.
The situation at the frontlines
The operational situation in the Volyn and Polissia directions remains unchanged.
In the Siversk and Slobozhanske directions, the enemy maintains a military presence in the border areas, conducts active sabotage activities to prevent the deployment of our troops to threatened areas, and increases the density of minefields along the state border in the Belgorod region.
In the Kupiansk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 7 enemy attacks in the vicinity of Synkivka, Petropavlivka in the Kharkiv region and Novoselivske in the Luhansk region.
In the Lyman direction, the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled an enemy attack near Spirne in the Donetsk region.
In the Bakhmut direction, our troops repelled 14 enemy attacks in the areas of Bohdanivka, Ivanivske and Klishchiivka in the Donetsk region. Ukrainian Defense Forces continue assault operations south of Bakhmut in the Donetsk region, inflicting losses in manpower and equipment on the enemy, and consolidating their positions.
In the Avdiivka direction, Ukrainian defenders continue to hold back the enemy, who keeps trying to encircle Avdiivka. Our soldiers are steadfastly holding the line, inflicting significant losses on the enemy. Ukrainian Defense Forces successfully repelled 19 enemy attacks in the areas east of Novobakhmutivka, Avdiivka, Tonenke, and Pervomaiske in the Donetsk region.
In the Maryinka direction, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to hold back the enemy in the areas of Maryinka, Pobeda, and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region, where our defenders repelled 8 attacks.
In the Shakhtarsk direction our defenders repelled 2 enemy attacks near Staromayorske in the Donetsk region.
In the Zaporizhzhia direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 3 enemy attacks near Novopokrovka and west of Robotyne in the Zaporizhzhia region.
In the Melitopol direction, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continued to inflict losses in manpower and equipment on the occupation forces, depleting the enemy along the entire front line.
In the Kherson direction, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continued to hold their positions on the left bank of the Dnipro River, continued to conduct counter-battery combat, and inflicted fire on the enemy's rear.
Achievements of our military
"Units of the missile forces damaged 2 areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment and 2 warehouses of fuel and lubricants of the enemy," the General Staff adds.
