Russian occupiers once again attempted to regain lost ground in areas south of Robotyne in the Zaporizhzhia region, according to the General Staff's summary on Facebook.
Russian attacks
The enemy carried out one missile and 31 aviation strikes, conducted 24 artillery shelling with MLRS on the positions of Ukrainian forces and civilian settlements. As a result of Russian terrorist attacks, there are casualties and injuries among the civilian population. Private residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure have suffered destruction and damage.
The situation at the frontlines
The operational situation in the east and south of Ukraine remains challenging. Over the past day, there have been 56 armed clashes.
In the Volyn and Polissia directions, the operational situation remains unchanged. There are no significant signs of the formation of offensive groups. Identified units of the Belarusian armed forces are carrying out tasks in border areas with Ukraine.
In the Siversk and Slobozhanske directions, the enemy maintains military presence in border areas, conducts sabotage and reconnaissance activities, fires on settlements from the territory of the Russian Federation, and increases the density of mine-explosive barriers along the state border of Ukraine.
About 20 settlements, including Volodymyrivka and Hasychivka in the Chernihiv region; Kozache in the Sumy region; Hraniv, Budarky, and Chuhunivka in the Kharkiv region, were subjected to artillery and mortar shelling by the enemy.
In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy conducted assault operations in the areas of Synkivka, the Kharkiv region, where 7 attacks were repelled by defense forces. Approximately 10 settlements, including Fiholivka, Ivanivka, Kyslivka, Tabaiivka, Krokhmalne, and Berestove in the Kharkiv region, came under artillery and mortar fire.
In the Lyman direction, the enemy, supported by aviation, conducted unsuccessful assault operations in the area of Serebrianske forestry, the Luhansk region, where 3 attacks were repelled by defense forces. The enemy carried out aviation strikes in the area of the settlement Spirne, the Donetsk region. Approximately 10 settlements, including Makiivka, Nevske, and Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region, and Yampolivka, Torske, and Dibrova in the Donetsk region, suffered from enemy artillery and mortar shelling.
In the Bakhmut direction, the enemy, with aviation support, conducted assault operations in the areas of Bohdanivka, Ivanivske, Klishchiivka, and Andriivka, the Donetsk region, where defense forces repelled 16 attacks. Approximately 20 settlements, including Minkivka, Bohdanivka, Ivanivske, Klishchiivka, Andriivka, and Ozaryanivka in the Donetsk region, came under artillery and mortar fire.
In the Avdiivka direction, the enemy, with aviation support, conducted unsuccessful assault operations in the areas east of Novokalynove, east of Novobakhmutivka, Stepove, Avdiivka, Severne, Pervomaiske in the Donetsk region, where defense forces repelled 14 attacks. Approximately 15 settlements, including Novokalynove, Berdychiv, Avdiivka, Tonenke, Netaylove, and Nevelske in the Donetsk region, came under enemy artillery and mortar shelling.
In the Maryinka direction, the enemy, with aviation support, conducted unsuccessful assault operations in the areas of Maryinka and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region, where defense forces repelled 5 attacks. Settlements in the Donetsk region, such as Krasnohorivka, Maryinka, Heorhiivka, Pobeda, Paraskoviivka, and Katerynivka, came under enemy artillery and mortar shelling.
In the Shakhtarsk direction, the enemy conducted unsuccessful assault operations in the Staromykhailivka area of the Donetsk region. About 10 populated areas, including Vodyane, Vuhledar, Prechystivka, Zolota Nyva, and Urozhayne in the Donetsk region, were subjected to artillery and mortar shelling.
In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the enemy attempted three times unsuccessfully to regain lost ground in the areas south of Robotyne in the Zaporizhzhia regiont. Additionally, the enemy conducted unsuccessful assault operations in the area of Novopokrovka in the Zaporizhzhia region and carried out an aviation strike in the region of Novodarivka in the Zaporizhzhia region.
Approximately 25 populated areas, including Charivne, Novodanylivka, Mali Shcherbaky, Stepove, Kamianske, and Plavne in the Zaporizhzhia region, came under artillery and mortar shelling.
In the Kherson direction, the enemy carried out an aviation strike in the area of Kryinka in the Kherson region. The enemy's artillery shelling affected populated areas, including Dudchany, Berislav, Ivanivka, Sadove, and Romashkove in the Kherson region, as well as the city of Kherson and Ochakiv in Mykolaiv Oblast.
Ukrainian counteoffenisve
Defensive forces continue to hold positions on the left bank of the Dnipro River in the Kherson region and continue to inflict fire damage on the enemy.
Enemy losses
During the day, the Defense Forces' aviation delivered eight strikes on areas where enemy personnel, weapons, and military equipment were concentrated. Two strikes targeted anti-aircraft missile systems, and two targeted enemy ammunition depots.
Missile troops units inflicted damage on a heavy flamethrower system with salvo fire and an anti-aircraft missile and gun system Pantsir of the enemy. Additionally, using the forces and means of air defense, Ukraine destroyed 10 out of 12 UAVs of the Shahed-136/131 type during the night.
