Russia-Ukraine war: Frontline update as of November 14

Ukrainian warriors continue to advance on two fronts, repelling Russian attacks near Avdiivka and destroying 3 enemy air defense assets, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Russian shelling
Over the past day, there have been 57 clashes, with the enemy launching 4 missile and 42 aviation strikes, as well as 26 artillery attacks on the positions of Ukrainian troops and civilian settlements.
Private residential houses and other civilian infrastructure suffered damage. Unfortunately, there are casualties and injuries among the civilian population.
Frontline situation
The operational situation in eastern and southern Ukraine remains complex.
In the Volyn and Polissia directions, the operational situation is stable with no significant changes. There are no signs of offensive group formations.
Identified units of the Belarusian Armed Forces are performing tasks in border areas with Ukraine.
In the Siversk and Slobozhanske directions, the enemy maintains military presence in border areas, conducts sabotage and reconnaissance activities, shells settlements from Russian territory, and increases the density of mine-explosive barriers along the state border of Ukraine. Approximately 15 settlements were subjected to artillery and mortar shelling.
In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy conducted storming operations in the areas of Synkivka and Petropavlivka, where Ukrainian forces repelled 7 attacks. The enemy conducted aviation strikes near settlements Vilshana and Cherneshchyna. Dvorichna, Synkivka, Petropavlivka, Ivanivka, and Berestove came under artillery and mortar fire.
In the Lyman direction, the enemy conducted unsuccessful storming operations in the areas of Nadiia and Serebrianske forestry. Aviation strikes were carried out near Pishchane, Serebrianka, Siversk, and Spirne. Approximately 10 settlements suffered from enemy artillery and mortar shelling.
In the Bakhmut direction, the occupiers conducted storming operations near Bohdanivka, Ivanivske, Klishchiivka, and Andriivka, where Ukrainian defenders repelled 10 attacks. The enemy carried out aviation strikes near Klishchiivka. Khromove, Chasiv Yar, Ivanivske, Klishchiivka, and Andriivka came under artillery and mortar fire.
In the Avdiivka direction, the enemy conducted unsuccessful storming operations in the areas of Avdiivka, Severne, Tonenke, Vodiane, and east of Pervomaiske, where Defense Forces repelled 15 attacks. Aviation strikes occurred near Arkhangelske, Novokalynove, Lastochkyne, and Avdiivka. Over 10 settlements were subjected to artillery and mortar shelling.
In the Maryinka direction, invaders conducted unsuccessful storming operations with aviation support in the areas of Maryinka and Novomykhailivka, where Ukrainian forces repelled 18 attacks. Krasnohorivka, Maryinka, Heorhiivka, Pobieda, Novomykhailivka, and Antonivka were under artillery and mortar fire.
In the Shakhtarsk direction, the enemy conducted storming operations in the area of Staromaiorske without success. Aviation strikes were carried out near Urozhaine. Approximately 10 settlements were subjected to artillery and mortar shelling.
In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the enemy carried out an aviation strike near Novodarivka. Over 25 settlements were subjected to artillery and mortar shelling.
In the Kherson direction, the enemy carried out aviation strikes in the areas of Novoberyslav and Beryslav. Artillery shelling affected Kherson, Osokorivka, Shliakhove, Beryslav, and Olhivka.
Advance of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
The Armed Forces of Ukraine continue the offensive operation in the Melitopol direction, conduct offensive (assault) actions in the Bakhmut direction, inflicting losses on the occupation forces in personnel and equipment, and wearing down the enemy along the entire front line.
Enemy losses
Over the day, the aviation of the Defense Forces delivered 10 strikes on the areas of concentration of personnel, weapons, and military equipment of the enemy. Also, 2 Shahed-136/131 UAVs and one guided aviation missile Kh-59 were destroyed by air defense.
Missile units hit 6 areas of concentration of personnel, weapons, and military equipment, a command post, 17 artillery systems, 3 air defense assets, and a fuel depot of the enemy.
The total number of losses of the Russian army since the beginning of the invasion is 313,470 military personnel.
