Russian invaders launched an assault on the Maryinka front with air support, but they were unsuccessful, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Russian attacks
During the day, there were more than 70 military clashes.
In total, the enemy delivered eight missiles and 48 aviation strikes, and carried out 24 shelling attacks from multiple launch rocket systems on Ukrainian positions and populated areas. As a result of Russian terrorist attacks, there are casualties and injuries among the civilian population. Private residential homes, apartment buildings, and other civilian infrastructure have been damaged and destroyed.
The situation on the frontlines
On the Volyn and Polissia fronts, the operational situation remains largely unchanged, with no significant signs of enemy offensive formations. Belarusian armed forces units in border areas with Ukraine continue to carry out their tasks.
On the Siversk and Slobozhanske fronts, the enemy maintains a military presence in border regions, continues to shell populated areas from Russian territory, and increases the density of mine and explosive obstacles along the Ukrainian state border.
Artillery and mortar shelling by the enemy have affected over 10 populated areas, including Sosnivka, Kostobobriv, Gremiach in the Chernihiv region, Volfyne, Kyianytsia, Stepok, Novodmytrivka, Riasne in the Sumy region, Odradne, Kolodiazne, Topoli in the Kharkiv region.
On the Kupiansk front, Ukrainian forces repelled over 10 enemy attacks in the areas of the settlements of Synkivka and Ivanivka in the Kharkiv region and about 10 more enemy attacks in the area of Nadiia in the Luhansk region. The enemy conducted aerial strikes in the areas of the settlements of Petropavlivka, Podoly, and Pishchane in the Kharkiv region.
Approximately 15 populated areas have been affected by enemy artillery and mortar shelling, including Synkivka, Ivanivka, Kyslivka, Krokhmahlne, Pishchane, and Berestove in the Kharkiv region.
On the Lyman front, the Defense Forces have repelled enemy attacks in the area of Makiiivka in the Luhansk region. The enemy carried out aerial strikes in the areas of the settlements of Spirne, Vyimka, and Vesele in the Donetsk region.
At the same time, nearly 20 populated areas have suffered from enemy artillery and mortar shelling, including Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region, Verkhniokamianske, Spirne, Vyimka, Zvaniivka, Rozdolivka in the Donetsk region.
On the Bakhmut front, Ukrainian forces repelled enemy attacks in the area of Klischiivka in the Donetsk region. The enemy carried out aerial strikes in the areas of the settlements of Klischiivka and Kurdiumivka in the Donetsk region. Around 25 populated areas have been exposed to enemy artillery and mortar fire, including Vasiukivka, Minivka, Bohdanivka, Klischivka, Andriivka, and Kurdiumivka in the Donetsk region.
On the Avdiivka front, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive actions with aerial support in the areas of the populated settlements of Avdiivka, Novokalynove, Stepove, Severne in the Donetsk region, where over 10 enemy attacks were repelled. The enemy also carried out aerial strikes in the area of the populated settlement of Berdychiv in the Donetsk region.
Over 10 populated areas suffered from enemy artillery and mortar shelling, including Novokalynove, Ocheretyne, Avdiivka, Opytne, Pervomaiske, and Nevelske in the Donetsk region.
On the Maryinka front, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive actions with aerial support in the area of Maryinka in the Donetsk region, where 11 enemy attacks were repelled. The enemy also carried out aerial strikes in the areas of Oleksandrivka and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region. Nearly 10 populated areas were exposed to enemy artillery and mortar fire, including Krasnohorivka, Maryinka, Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region.
On the Shakhtarsk front, Ukrainian forces repelled enemy attacks in the area of Zolota Niva in the Donetsk region. The enemy carried out aerial strikes in the areas of the populated settlements of Vuhledar and Pavlivka in the Donetsk region. Around 15 populated areas have suffered from enemy artillery and mortar shelling, including Vodiane, Vuhledar, Prechystivka, Zolota Niva, Blahodatne, and Urozhaine in the Donetsk region.
On the Zaporizhzhia front, the enemy carried out aerial strikes in the areas of the populated settlements of Robotine and Novodanylivka in the Zaporizhzhia region. Nearly 30 populated areas have been affected by enemy artillery and mortar shelling, including Mala Tokmachka, Orikhiv, Robotine, Kamianske, Plavne, Prymorske in the Zaporizhzhia region.
On the Kherson front, the occupiers conducted aerial strikes in the areas of the populated settlements of Beryslav and Vesele in the Kherson region. Enemy artillery and mortar fire hit the populated areas of Inzhenerne, Antonivka, and Komyshany in the Kherson region and the city of Kherson.
Ukrainian counteroffensive
Ukrainian Armed Forces continue their offensive operations on the Melitopol front, conducting assault actions on the Bakhmut front, inflicting losses on the occupying forces in terms of personnel and equipment, and wearing down the enemy along the entire front line.
Losses of the Russian forces
During the past day, the Ukrainian Defense Forces' aviation targeted one command post, conducted 13 strikes on personnel concentration areas, armaments, and military equipment of the enemy, as well as four strikes on enemy anti-aircraft missile systems. Ukrainian defenders also destroyed four tactical-level reconnaissance drones.
Units of the missile troops delivered strikes on one command post, two personnel concentration areas, armaments, military equipment, two heavy flamethrower systems TOS-1A Solntsepyok, and 13 artillery assets of the enemy.
