Ukrainian soldiers continue to advance in the directions of Melitopol and Bakhmut, repelling nine Russian attacks near Maryinka and destroying two Russian ammunition depots, according to data from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Russian shelling

During the day, there were 20 combat clashes. Additionally, the Russian Federation launched another attack on Ukraine, using 38 Iranian armed drones of the Shahed-136/131 type.

The port infrastructure of the Odesa region was affected. As a result of the combat efforts of the air defense forces, 26 enemy Shaheds were destroyed.

In total, the enemy carried out 7 missile strikes and 73 airstrikes, as well as conducted 37 artillery shelling attacks on the positions of our troops and civilian settlements. Unfortunately, there are casualties and injuries among the civilian population due to Russian terrorist attacks.

Residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure have suffered damage and destruction.

Frontline update

The operational situation in eastern and southern Ukraine remains complex.

On the Volyn and Polissia fronts, there have been no significant changes in the operational situation. There are no signs of enemy offensive formations being detected.

Identified units of the Belarusian Armed Forces are carrying out tasks in border areas with Ukraine.

On the Siversk and Slobozhanske fronts, the enemy maintains a military presence in border areas, continues to shell populated areas from Russian territory, and increases the density of mine and explosive barriers along the Ukrainian state border.

The enemy conducted aviation strikes in the areas of Grabovske and Popivka in the Sumy region, as well as Starytsa and Hatyshe in the Kharkiv region.

Over 25 populated areas, including Kliusy, Bleshnia, Hremiachka, Leonivka, and Kostobobriv in the Chernihiv region; Stara Huta, Porokhon, Volfyne, Myropillia, and Pozhnia in the Sumy region; and Udy, Vovchansk, Budarky, Vilkhuvatka, and Bologivka in the Kharkiv region, were subjected to artillery and mortar shelling. Unfortunately, there are casualties and injuries among the civilian population due to Russian terrorist attacks.

On the Kupiansk front, the enemy conducted aviation strikes near Synkivka and Kupiansk in the Kharkiv region.

Areas near Synkivka, Tabaiivka, and Berestove in the Kharkiv region were also under enemy artillery and mortar fire.

On the Lyman front, enemy aviation strikes targeted Nadiia and Novoiehorivka in the Luhansk region, as well as Torske, Siversk, and Spirne in the Donetsk region.

Over 15 populated areas, including Makiivka, Nevske, and Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region, and Zarichne, Dibrova, Spirne, Rozdolivka, Fedorivka in the Donetsk region, suffered from artillery and mortar shelling. The enemy continues to increase the density of mines and explosive barriers.

On the Bakhmut front, our defenders continue to hold the defense and protect our land from occupiers. The enemy conducted aviation strikes near Klischiivka, Kostiantynivka, and Pivnichne in the Donetsk region.

Over 25 populated areas, including Vasiukivka, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Bohdanivka, Ivanivske, Andriivka, and Druzhba in the Donetsk region, came under artillery and mortar fire. The enemy continues to increase the density of mine and explosive barriers.

On the Avdiivka front, Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled enemy attacks in the southeast of the Severodonetsk region.

The enemy conducted aviation strikes near Avdiivka. Over 10 populated areas, including Novokalynove, Stepove, Tonenke, Siverske, Pervomaiske, and Nevelske in the Donetsk region, were subjected to artillery and mortar shelling.

On the Maryinka front, our defenders successfully repelled nine enemy attacks in the vicinity of Maryinka in the Donetsk region. The enemy conducted aviation strikes near Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region.

More than 10 populated areas, including Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Pobieda, Novomykhailivka, Katerynivka, and Yelyzavetivka in the Donetsk region, were under enemy fire.

On the Shakhtarsk front, the enemy conducted aviation strikes near Urozhaine, Blahodatne, and Staromykhailivka in the Donetsk region.

Approximately 10 populated areas, including Vodianoye, Vuhledar, Prechystivka, Zolota Niva, Blahodatne, and Urozhaino in the Donetsk region, were subjected to artillery and mortar shelling.

On the Zaporizhzhia front, the enemy conducted aviation strikes in the vicinity of Mala Tokmachka in the Zaporizhzhia region.

Approximately 20 populated areas, including Levadne, Huliaypole, Orikhiv, Shcherbaky, Stepove, and Piatyhatky in the Zaporizhzhia region, were under artillery and mortar fire.

On the Kherson front, the enemy conducted aviation strikes in the areas of Beryslav, Mykolaivka, and Olhivka in the Kherson region.

Approximately 10 populated areas in the Kherson region, including Oskorivka, Respublikanets, Beryslav, Antonivka, Kizomys, and the city of Kherson, were subjected to enemy artillery and mortar fire.

Ukrainian offensive

At the same time, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue their offensive operation in the direction of Melitopol, conducting assault actions in the Bakhmut direction, inflicting losses on the occupying forces in terms of personnel and equipment, and wearing down the enemy along the entire front line.

Enemy losses

During the day, the aviation of the Defense Forces carried out 12 strikes on areas where the enemy's personnel, weaponry, and military equipment were concentrated.

Units of the missile forces struck 4 artillery pieces, 3 areas with concentrated personnel and military equipment, 1 command post, and 2 ammunition depots of the enemy.

The total number of losses in the Russian army since the beginning of the invasion amounts to 276,670 military personnel.
