The Ukrainian military continues to advance in the Melitopol direction, destroying an enemy ammunition depot and repelling a Russian attack near Donetsk, according to data from the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Russian shelling
Over the past day, the enemy has carried out 32 aerial strikes and launched 39 rocket attacks from multiple launch rocket systems on our troops' positions and civilian settlements.
Unfortunately, due to Russian terrorist attacks, there have been casualties and injuries among the civilian population. Residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure have also been damaged.
The likelihood of missile and aerial strikes across Ukraine remains high.
Frontline situation
Over the past day, there have been more than 20 skirmishes.
In the Volyn and Polissia directions, the operational situation remains relatively unchanged.
In the Siversk and Slobozhanske directions, the enemy conducted aviation strikes in the areas of Sydorivka in the Sumy region and Udiv and Veterynarne in the Kharkiv region.
They also carried out artillery and mortar shelling on more than 15 populated areas, including Kliusy, Karpovychi in the Chernihiv region, Znob-Novhorodske, Romashkove, Buhor, Vorozhba, Veselivka, Popivka in the Sumy region, and Udy, Strilecha, Ohirtseve, Vovchansk, Nesterne, and Chorne in the Kharkiv region.
In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy continues to shell populated areas with artillery and mortars, including Masiutivka, Kucheriivka, Kyslivka, Berestove, and Kovalivka in the Kharkiv region.
In the Lyman direction, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive actions in the Novoiehorivka area of the Luhansk region. They also launched aviation strikes in the areas of Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region and Torskoye, Siversk, and Spyrne in the Donetsk region.
The enemy continues to shell populated areas with artillery and mortars, including Nevskoye and Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region and Torske, Dibrova, Verkhniokamianske, and Spirne in the Donetsk region.
In the Bakhmut direction, Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled Russian troop attacks north of Klishchivka in the Donetsk region.
More than 10 populated areas were subjected to artillery shelling, including Fedorivka Druha, Tykhonivka, Orihovo-Vasylivka, Bohdanivka, Ivanivske, and Kostiantynivka in the Donetsk region.
In the Avdiivka direction, the enemy shelled the populated areas of Oleksandrivka, Keramik, Stepove, Avdiivka, Severne, and Nevelske in the Donetsk region.
In the Maryinka direction, the Ukrainian forces continue to hold back Russian troop advances in the Maryinka area of the Donetsk region. The enemy conducted an aviation strike in the Krasnohorivka area.
More than 10 populated areas were subjected to artillery shelling, including Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Pobieda, Katerynivka, and Veselyi Hai in the Donetsk region.
In the Shakhtarsk direction, the enemy carried out aviation strikes in the areas of Vuhledar and Staromaiorske.

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the enemy conducted aviation strikes in the areas of Mala Tokmachka, Robotyne, and Orihove in the Zaporizhzhia region.
More than 10 populated areas were subjected to artillery shelling, including Velykomykhailivka, Nikopol, Dobra Nadia in the Dnipro region, Novodarivka, Malynivka, Zatyshshia, Novoandriivka, Stepove, and Kamianske in the Zaporizhzhia region.
In the Kherson direction, the enemy conducted an aviation strike in the Mykhailivka area.
More than 10 populated areas were subjected to artillery shelling, including Zolota Balka, Respublikanets, Odradokamianka, Olhivka, Tokarivka, and Sonechne in the Kherson region.
Ukraine's advance
Meanwhile, the Ukrainian Armed Forces continue their offensive operation in the Melitopol direction, consolidating their positions and conducting counter-battery measures.
Enemy losses
The Ukrainian defense aviation carried out 11 strikes during the day on enemy personnel, weaponry, military equipment concentration areas, and 2 strikes on the enemy's anti-aircraft missile systems.
Units of rocket forces and artillery inflicted damage during the day on an enemy personnel, weaponry, and military equipment concentration area, destroyed 12 artillery units on firing positions, and one enemy ammunition depot.
The total losses of the Russian army in our country have exceeded 265,000 in terms of live personnel.
