The Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to hold back the advance of Russian invaders on the Maryinka front, according to the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Russian attacks
Over the day, the enemy launched 8 missiles and 30 aviation strikes and conducted 19 rocket artillery strikes on the positions of Ukrainian troops and civilian areas. Unfortunately, there have been casualties and injuries among the civilian population due to Russian terrorist attacks. Residential buildings, schools, and other civilian infrastructure have been damaged.
Frontline situation
During the day, 26 clashes took place.
On the Volyn and Polissia fronts, the operational situation remains relatively stable.
On the Siversk and Slobozhanske fronts, the enemy conducted aviation strikes in the areas of Popivka and Slavhorod in the Sumy region. Russians also carried out mortar and artillery shelling of over 20 settlements.
On the Kupiansk front, the enemy launched an aviation strike in the area of Ivanivka and Kyslivka in the Kharkiv region. Settlements such as Kyslivka, Kolodiazhne, and Berestove were subjected to artillery and mortar shelling by the enemy.
On the Lyman front, the enemy carried out aviation strikes in the areas of Tverdokhlibove and Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region, as well as Spirne in the Donetsk region. More than 10 settlements were shelled by enemy artillery.
On the Bakhmut front, the enemy launched an aviation strike in the area of New York in the Donetsk region. Over 15 settlements were affected by enemy artillery shelling.
On the Avdiivka front, the enemy conducted an aviation strike in the vicinity of Avdiivka. Oleksandrivka, Novokalynove, Avdiivka, and Siverske were shelled with artillery and mortars by the enemy.
On the Maryinka front, Ukrainian defense forces continue to hold back the Russian military advance in the Maryinka area of the Donetsk region. The enemy carried out an aviation strike in the area of Krasnohorivka and Kostiantynivka. Settlements such as Krasnohorivka, Maryinka, Pobieda, Novomykhailivka, and Katerynivka in the Donetsk region were subjected to artillery shelling.
On the Shakhtarsk front, the enemy conducted aviation strikes in the areas of Vodiane, Novosilky, and Blahodatne in the Donetsk region. Settlements such as Vuhledar, Vodiane, Prechystivka, Zolota Nyva, and Urozhaine were affected by enemy artillery shelling.
On the Zaporizhzhia front, the enemy carried out aviation strikes in the areas of Robotyne and Novodanylivka. More than 20 settlements were shelled by enemy artillery.
On the Kherson front, the enemy launched aviation strikes in the areas of Mykolaivka and Olhivka. Kherson, Sadove in the Kherson region, and Ochakiv in the Mykolaiv region were affected by enemy artillery shelling.
UAF offensive
The Ukrainian defense forces continue their offensive operation on the Melitopol front, consolidating their positions and conducting counter-battery measures.
Russian losses
During the day, the defense forces' aviation carried out eight strikes on personnel concentration areas, one on a command point, and three on enemy air defense missile systems.
The rocket forces and artillery units hit two command points, one anti-aircraft defense system, and one artillery system on the enemy's firing positions during the day.
