Ukrainian military continues offensive operations in the Zaporizhzhia region, repels Russian attacks near Maryinka, and destroys Russian EW station, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Russian shelling
Over the past 24 hours, the enemy launched 2 missile strikes and 33 aerial attacks, carrying out 50 artillery barrages from multiple rocket launch systems against Ukrainian troops' positions and civilian areas.
As a result of Russian terrorist attacks, there have been casualties and injuries among the civilian population.
Frontline situation
Around 28 combat clashes took place during the day.
On the Volyn and Polissia fronts, the operational situation remains relatively stable.
On the Siversk and Slobozhanske directions, the enemy conducted mortar and artillery shelling on more than 25 settlements.
On the Kupiansk front, Ukrainian forces have steadfastly held their defense, successfully repelling enemy attacks in the areas north of Ivanivka in the Kharkiv region and south of Novoselivske in the Luhansk region.
The enemy carried out aerial strikes in the areas of Kruhliakivka and Kucherivka in the Kharkiv region. Enemy artillery and mortar shelling affected more than 10 settlements.
On the Lyman front, enemy artillery shelling targeted the areas of Kuzmine, Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region, and Verkhniokamianske, Spirne, and Rozdolivka in the Donetsk region.
On the Bakhmut front, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive actions in the areas of Andriivka, Kurdiumivka, and Druzhba in the Donetsk region.
More than 10 settlements, including Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Markove, and Chasiv Yar, suffered from enemy artillery shelling.
On the Avdiivka front, under intense enemy aviation and artillery fire, Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled Russian attacks in the area of Avdiivka.
Artillery shelling affected Nevelske, Novobakhmutivka, Avdiivka in the Donetsk region.
On the Maryinka front, the defensive forces continue to hold back Russian troop advances in the area of Maryinka. An enemy aviation strike was reported in the same region.
Artillery shelling targeted Krasnohorivka, Hostre, Heorhiivka, Maryinka, and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region.
On the Shakhtarsk front, the enemy conducted an aviation strike in the area of Odradne in the Donetsk region.
Artillery shelling affected Vodiane, Vuhledar, Prechystivka, Velyka Novosilka, Blahodatne, Staromaiorske, and Rivnopil in the Donetsk region.
On the Zaporizhzhia front, the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive actions in the Robotyne area of the Zaporizhzhia region. Enemy aviation strikes were reported in the areas of Huliaypilske, Mala Tokmachka, and Orikhiv.
Artillery shelling affected over 10 settlements.
On the Kherson front, the enemy conducted an aviation strike in the area of Odradokamianka in the Kherson region. Enemy artillery shelling targeted more than 10 settlements.
Advances of Ukrainian Armed Forces
Ukrainian forces continue their offensive operation on the Melitopol and Berdyansk fronts, consolidating their positions and implementing counter-battery measures.
Enemy losses
Ukrainian aviation launched 9 strikes over the past day, targeting areas with concentrations of personnel, weaponry, and military equipment of the enemy.
Rocket and artillery units inflicted damage on 2 command posts, 1 personnel concentration area, 5 artillery units, and 1 enemy radar station.
The total number of losses for the Russian army since the beginning of the invasion stands at 250,240 military personnel.
