The Ukrainian military is holding back the pressure of Russian occupiers on the Bakhmut and Avdiivka directions. They have also managed to destroy an enemy radio-electronic warfare station, according to the data from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Shelling of Ukraine

During the past 24 hours, the enemy carried out a missile and aviation attack on the territory of Ukraine, using 2 Kalibr missiles on the port infrastructure in the Odesa region and 8 Shahed drones. As a result of successful military operations, the Air Force managed to destroy all 8 drones.

In total, the Russian forces launched 27 airstrikes and conducted more than 30 artillery shelling attacks on our troops' positions and civilian settlements. Unfortunately, there are casualties and injuries among the civilian population. The port infrastructure in southern Ukraine and residential buildings suffered damage and destruction.

Moreover, the likelihood of further missile and aviation strikes across the entire territory of Ukraine remains very high.

The situation on the frontline

During the past 24 hours, there have been 30 military clashes.

In the Volyn and Polissia directions, there have been no significant changes, and there are no signs of the enemy forming offensive groupings.

In the Siversk and Slobozhanske directions, the occupiers carried out mortar and artillery shelling on more than 20 settlements, including Stara Huta, Iskryskivshchyna, Volfyne, Bilovody, Pokrovka in the Sumy region, and Huriv Kozachok, Udy, Bochkove, Mala Vovcha, Nesterne in the Kharkiv region.

In the Kupiansk direction, the aggressors conducted an aviation strike in the area of Iziumske in the Kharkiv region. Figolivka, Dvorichna, Zapadne, and Kyslivka in the Kharkiv region also faced artillery and mortar shelling.

In the Lyman direction, the Russians initiated unsuccessful offensive actions near Nadiia in the Luhansk region and conducted an aviation strike near Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region. Additionally, residential areas in Nevske and Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region, as well as Spirne, Berestove, and Verkhniokamianske in the Donetsk region, were subjected to artillery shelling.

In the Bakhmut direction, Ukrainian troops successfully repelled enemy attacks south of Klyshchivka. The aggressors carried out aviation strikes in the areas of Kurdiumivka, Bila Hora, and New York in the Donetsk region. Over 10 settlements, including Bohdanivka, Chasiv Yar, Ivanivske, Toretsk, and Zalizne in the Donetsk region, suffered from enemy artillery shelling.

In the Avdiivka direction, our military successfully repelled enemy attacks in the area of Avdiivka, despite intense fire from enemy aviation and artillery. More than 15 settlements, including Berdychivka, Avdiivka, Pervomaiske, Nevelske, and Karlivka in the Donetsk region, were shelled by enemy artillery.

In the Maryinka direction, Ukrainian defenders continue to hold off the enemy's advances in the area of Maryinka. The Russians carried out shelling on over 10 settlements, including Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Maryinka, Kurakhivka, Pobieda, and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region.

In the Shakhtarsk direction, the occupiers conducted an aviation strike in the area of Staromykhailivka in the Donetsk region and shelled the settlements of Vodiyane, Vuhledar, and Blahodatne.

In the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, the aggressors are concentrating their main efforts on preventing further advancement of Ukrainian forces. Over 15 settlements, including Levadne, Huliaipole, Charivne, Bilohiria, and Kamianske in the Zaporizhzhia region and Nikopol in the Dnipropetrovsk region, as well as Zmiivka, Lvove, Tokarivka, Antonivka, and the Dniprovske in Kherson regions, faced artillery shelling.

Meanwhile, the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue their offensive operations in the Melitopol and Berdyansk directions, consolidating positions, targeting enemy objectives with artillery fire, and conducting counter-battery actions.

Losses of Russian forces

During the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian Air Force conducted 6 strikes on areas of concentration of personnel, weaponry, and military equipment of the enemy, as well as 1 strike on a surface-to-air missile system and 1 strike on a Russian command post.

Rocket forces and artillery units targeted and hit 1 command post, 1 area of personnel concentration, 5 artillery positions, 1 fuel and lubricants depot, and 1 radio-electronic warfare station of the occupiers.

It should be noted that in the previous 24 hours, Ukrainian forces have eliminated 590 enemy soldiers. Overall, Russia has lost over 244,000 of its troops since the start of the full-scale war against Ukraine.
