According to the Facebook page of the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, as of Thursday morning, July 27, Russia's losses in the war in Ukraine amounted to 590 occupiers. The total number of casualties in the Russian army since the invasion began is 244,270 military personnel.

The total combat losses of the enemy from 24.02.22 to 27.07.23 were approximately:

  • personnel ‒ about 244270 (+590) persons were liquidated,
  • tanks ‒ 4186 (+9),
  • APV ‒ 8147 (+11),
  • artillery systems – 4745 (+18),
  • MLRS – 698 (+0),
  • anti-aircraft warfare systems ‒ 457 (+0),
  • aircraft – 315 (+0),
  • helicopters – 311 (+0),
  • UAV operational-tactical level – 3996 (+3),
  • cruise missiles ‒ 1347 (+40),
  • warships / boats ‒ 18 (+0),
  • vehicles and fuel tanks – 7229 (+18),
  • special equipment ‒ 708 (+0).

Frontline situation

As reported by the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), in the past 24 hours, Ukrainian forces initiated a significant counteroffensive operation in the western part of Zaporizhzhia region, employing a large amount of military equipment.

Furthermore, the Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to achieve successful advances on the southern flank of Bakhmut.
