Russia trying to break through Nova Novosilka's defense, amid numerous losses

The Russian occupiers, despite numerous losses, are trying to break through the defense of Ukrainian soldiers in the area of Velyka Novosilka, Donetsk region, according to the Operational and Strategic Group Khortytsia.
“In the Novopavlivka sector, the enemy has concentrated its main attack efforts in Velyka Novosilka. Despite the numerous losses, the enemy is trying to break through our defense on the outskirts of the settlement,” the Operational and Strategic Group Khortytsia writes.
It is noted that the enemy also attacked Kostyantynopil and Zelenivka with the support of armored vehicles.
Six enemy armored vehicles were destroyed and damaged during the attack.
Situation at the front
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 189 combat engagements were recorded along the entire frontline over the past day, January 19. The enemy was putting the most pressure on the Pokrovsk direction.
The British Ministry of Defense, meanwhile, reports that the Russians have increased pressure on Velyka Novosilka after a series of failures to capture the settlement.
