Russia transferring old equipment and mobilized troops to Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions - ATESH
Russian forces are transferring old equipment and untrained mobilized soldiers from Crimea to the Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions. The reason for this is a shortage of equipment and personnel on the front lines, according to the Telegram channel of the partisan movement ATESH.
According to reports, Russian forces, due to a critical shortage of equipment and personnel, are reactivating old military hardware in Crimea for shipment to the Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions.
"In the Yevpatoria area, our agents recorded the loading of a train of trucks with cargo beds. The use of such 'junk' on the front lines highlights the enormous problems with replacing destroyed vehicles," noted the ATESH partisan movement.
According to the guerrillas, along with this equipment, freshly mobilized men are also sent to the front without any training. Such units are formed only to increase their numbers, having neither the skills nor the resources to carry out their tasks.
As previously reported by BBC News, the rate of Russian military deaths in the war against Ukraine is breaking records since the beginning of the conflict. Currently, more than 78,000 soldiers have been killed on the front lines.
At the same time, according to the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Russia has lost over 728,000 personnel since the start of the full-scale war. In particular, over the past day, the Defense Forces eliminated another 1,050 Russian soldiers.
