Russia to conduct tactical nuclear weapons exercises due to Western 'provocations'
According to the directive of the dictator Vladimir Putin, the Russian military will conduct exercises with tactical nuclear weapons, citing the Ministry of Defense of Russia.
In the near future, the Russian army will carry out a series of activities to practice preparation and use of non-strategic nuclear weapons.
As noted by the Ministry of Defense, the exercises will be conducted "in response to provocative statements and threats from certain Western officials towards Russia."
Russian nuclear threats
During full-scale wars, the Russian dictator has repeatedly resorted to shameful threats to the West with nuclear weapons. For example, in February 2024, during his address to the Federal Assembly, Putin declared full readiness of nuclear forces, and also hinted at involving military personnel from Ukraine's allies in the war.
Meanwhile, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk is convinced that the dictator's words should be taken seriously and prepared for worst-case scenarios. At the same time, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, on his part, notes that Russia's regular nuclear threats should be seen as psychological intimidation rather than real intentions.
