Russia terrorizes Mykolaiv for nearly day: Two killed, one-year-old among injured

After Russian strikes on Mykolaiv on the afternoon of September 9, two people were killed. Many others were injured, including an infant, according to a statement by Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration head Heorhii Reshetilov and Ukraine's State Emergency Service (DSNS).
Russia terrorizes Mykolaiv
According to Reshetilov, two people were killed in Russian attacks on Mykolaiv on the afternoon of September 9.
"Preliminarily, nine people were injured. Among them is a one-year-old boy. The child received the necessary medical care and will continue treatment as an outpatient," he said.
The other injured people are in conditions of varying severity and have been hospitalized, the official said. Medics are providing them with all necessary assistance.
"Russia has been terrorizing Mykolaiv and the region for almost a day. Behind every such attack are human lives, the pain of families and our communities," Reshetilov said.
Russia strikes Mykolaiv again
Later, Ukraine's State Emergency Service reported that Russian forces were once again striking civilian infrastructure in Mykolaiv.

The strike hit warehouse facilities where vegetables were stored, as well as a post office branch.

At the site of the strike, a fire broke out. There were no casualties, according to the State Emergency Service.
RBC-Ukraine previously reported that the Metro shopping center in Mykolaiv temporarily suspended operations after being damaged in a Russian drone attack on September 8.
It was also reported that Russian forces struck Mykolaiv on the evening of September 8. The attack damaged the Metro hypermarket, shattering windows and damaging the roof.
