Russia strikes Zelenskyy's hometown overnight: Fires broke out, residential buildings damaged

Russian troops attacked Kryvyi Rih in the Dnipropetrovsk region with strike drones overnight, causing fires and damaging several high-rise buildings, according to Vladyslav Haivanenko, head of the Dnipropetrovsk regional military administration.
"A fire broke out in Kryvyi Rih as a result of the Russian drone attack, but it was extinguished. Administrative buildings, two apartment buildings, and cars were damaged," Haivanenko says.
According to him, Russia also struck Pavlohrad with drones overnight. Cars and an unused building caught fire. The fire was extinguished.
"Russian drones also targeted the Vasylkivka community in the Synelnykove district. 3 private homes were damaged. Russia struck the Nikopol district with FPV drones and artillery fire. Nikopol and the Pokrovske community were hit," adds the head of the Dnipropetrovsk regional military administration.

Russian strikes on Kryvyi Rih
Kryvyi Rih is perhaps the most frequently targeted city in central Ukraine by Russian forces. Even though it is far from the front line, Russia regularly strikes Kryvyi Rih with missiles, drones, and guided aerial bombs.
On the night of December 6, the Russians struck an energy facility in Kryvyi Rih. There was a sharp voltage drop on the lines supplying large pumping stations of the municipal water utility and boiler rooms of heat supply organizations.
Also, on the evening of December 3, a Russian Iskander-M ballistic missile hit an administrative building in Kryvyi Rih.
In addition, on October 26, Russian troops attacked Kryvyi Rih with guided aerial bombs, and a powerful explosion was heard in the city. An industrial enterprise was damaged by the debris.
