Russian troops attacked Kryvyi Rih in the Dnipropetrovsk region this morning, causing a fire and injuries, according to Oleksandr Hanzha, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration.
"Russia struck Kryvyi Rih. Two people were injured. Russian attack caused a fire, which rescue workers have already brought under control," says Hanzha.
According to him, two men aged 31 and 58 were injured, and medical personnel are providing them with the necessary care.
Later, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration reported that Russia had attacked the city with strike drones for the second time that morning.
In the Metalurhiinyi district, apartment buildings have been damaged; the exact number will be known later.
"An air raid alert is in effect in the Kryvyi Rih district. Remain in safe locations until the all-clear is given," adds Hanzha.
Russian strikes on Ukraine on night of March 23
Russian troops attack Ukraine every night with drones and various types of missiles. As a rule, the majority of Russian targets are neutralized by air defense forces.
On the night of March 23, Russia launched an attack with 251 strike drones of the Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas, and other types from six directions, with approximately 150 of them being Shaheds.
Many southern, eastern, and central regions were targeted. In particular, several communities in the Kirovohrad and Odesa regions reported the consequences of the Russian strikes.
