Russia strikes Zaporizhzhia residential area
On November 19, Russian forces struck a settlement in Zaporizhzhia region. The enemy targeted residential areas, according to Ivan Fedorov, head of Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration.
"Russian forces hit a settlement in the Zaporizhzhia region, reportedly striking a residential area," Fedorov wrote.
He added that the consequences of the strike are being clarified.
Fedorov also noted that the enemy's attack is ongoing.
Russian attacks
Earlier, around 9:30 PM (Kyiv time), the Ukrainian Air Force warned that a missile had been detected over the Zaporizhzhia region, heading northeast.
By approximately 9:40 PM, the Air Force reported that Russian forces had launched guided aerial bombs toward Zaporizhzhia.
On November 16, the Russian attack on Zaporizhzhia and the surrounding area damaged a critical infrastructure facility. The Shahed kamikaze drone carried out the strike.
