Russia launched a drone attack on the center of Rivne on the morning of October 13, according to the Rivne Regional Military Administration.
Explosions were heard in Rivne amid a drone attack. The enemy target was moving from central Ukraine toward the west.
Local residents later heard explosions. It subsequently emerged that the drone had hit a building housing an educational institution.
"We have had an impact in the city center, on a building of an educational institution. All services are on site, and we are working. There is extensive damage, and there are injured people," said Rivne Regional Military Administration head Oleksandr Koval.
However, he did not specify how many people had been injured or the nature of their injuries.
The regional administration later added that there are currently 10 injured people, one of whom is in serious condition.
Russia attacked Ukraine with more than 100 drones overnight, most of them jet-powered, as well as five ballistic missiles.
Ukraine did not receive data on the launches from Russian territory, so explosions were heard in Kyiv before an air raid alert was announced.
