Russia strikes Ukrainian Kharkiv's energy infrastructure, causing power outages

On the night of September 23, Russia attacked Kharkiv with 18 drones, targeting 2 districts. The main strike was on the energy sector, causing power outages in the city, according to Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov.
"The main Russian strike was on an energy infrastructure facility, which affected the supply of electricity to the city's residents," Terekhov wrote.
He also reported that the strike on Kharkiv damaged residential buildings, shops, and several cars, but there were no casualties.
In addition, due to the Russian attack on the energy facility, there are problems with the movement of ground electric transport in parts of the Kholodnohirskyi and Shevchenkivskyi districts. Currently, replacement buses have been provided to replace trams and trolleybuses.
According to Terekhov, due to the lack of electricity, there may be a partial lack of hot water in some areas, but specialists from Kharkiv Thermal Power Plant are already working to resolve these issues.
On the night of September 23-24, Russian troops again launched a massive drone attack on Kharkiv and the region. The Russian strike caused fires and casualties and continued for about an hour. At least 17 explosions were heard in the city.
