On the evening of September 1, Russian forces carried out a drone attack on the border town of Horodnia in Chernihiv region, reported Head of the Chernihiv Regional State Administration Vyacheslav Chaus.

According to local authorities, at least three explosions were recorded.

As a result of the strike, civilians were injured. Among the victims was a 14-year-old girl who was hospitalized in the regional children's hospital. A 50-year-old woman was also injured and taken to a local medical facility.

In addition, the explosions damaged several private residential houses.

Currently, rescue services and utility crews are working at the scene to eliminate the consequences of the attack.

On the night of Monday, September 1, the Russian army launched several groups of Shahed-type attack drones, this time from the northern direction.

On the night of September 1, in the Kyiv region, damage was recorded in two districts as a result of a massive drone attack. An enterprise and warehouses came under enemy fire.

Also, as a result of Russian attack, part of the residents of the city of Sumy were left without water supply.
