Last night, on June 24, the Russian military attacked Ukraine with 97 drones, with most being eliminated by the air defense forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"On the night of June 24 (from 10 p.m. Kyiv time, on June 23), Russia attacked with 97 Shahed-type attack UAVs and various types of imitator drones from the directions of: Orel, Millerovo, Kursk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk of Russia, Chauda - TOT of Crimea," the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine notes.

Aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare, and unmanned systems units, as well as mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, were involved in repelling Russian attacks.

"As of 8 a.m. Kyiv time, air defense neutralized 78 Russian Shahed-type UAVs (other types of drones) in the east, south, and north of the country. 63 were shot down by firepower, 15 were locally lost/suppressed by electronic warfare," the Ukrainian Air Force adds.

A total of 6 Russian drones attacked 6 locations in Ukraine.

At night, Russia once again attacked Ukraine with drones. At least 3 people were injured in Kharkiv. One of the Russian drones crashed without exploding, and explosions were reported in the Nemyshlianskyi and Saltivskyi districts of the city.

In addition, Russians attacked the Sumy region at night. 3 people are known to have been killed - a man, a woman, and an 8-year-old boy. Houses were destroyed and damaged, and a fire broke out at the site of the Russian attack.
