Russia strikes Ukraine with 83 drones overnight: Air defense's work reported

On the night of February 10, Russia struck Ukraine with 80 drones. Air defense forces operated in 11 regions of Ukraine, according to the Ukrainian Air Force.
On the night of February 10, 2025, Russia attacked Ukraine with 83 Shahed-type attack drones and various types of imitator drones from the following directions:
- Kursk;
- Orel
- Millerovo
- Shatalovo
- Bryansk;
- Primorsko-Akhtarsk.
Russian air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Air Force and Defense Forces of Ukraine.
As of 9 a.m. Kyiv time, 61 Shahed attack drones and other types of drones were confirmed downed in Kyiv, Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, Chernihiv, Kirovohrad, Khmelnytskyi, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv, and Kherson regions.
In addition, 22 Russian imitator drones were lost in the area, with no negative consequences.
Sumy, Kharkiv, Poltava, and Kirovohrad regions were struck by the Russian attack.
Russian attack on Ukraine
On the evening of February 9, an air alert was declared in many regions due to the threat of Russian Shahed attacks.
Another Russian drone attack hit a parking lot in a residential neighborhood in Sumy. A large-scale fire broke out there, and several residential buildings were damaged.
Several explosions were also heard in the Kyiv area. Earlier, Russian drones were seen moving toward the capital.
