Russia strikes Ukraine with 3 missiles and 161 drones overnight

On the night of September 22–23, Russia launched a massive strike against Ukraine from six directions simultaneously, according to the Ukrainian Air Force.
Russia started attacking Ukraine at 6 p.m. Kyiv time on September 22, deploying 161 attack drones, including:
- Shahed-type drones, 82 of which were jet-powered
- Gerbera drones
- Parodiya decoy drones
- 3 Banderol/Dan-T cruise missiles.
The launches were carried out from Oryol, Kursk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Millerovo, as well as from the temporarily occupied cities of Donetsk and Hvardiiske in Crimea.
According to preliminary data as of 8 a.m., 119 Shahed, Gerbera, and other types of drones were shot down or neutralized, as well as all 3 Banderol/Dan-T missiles.
Russian airstrikes were recorded at 18 locations. Debris from downed drones fell at another 8 locations.
Kyiv suffered several waves of Russian attacks last night. In the Holosiivskyi district, a Russian drone struck a warehouse and a gas station, causing a fire.
In the Solomianskyi district, the fire engulfed the grounds of a transportation company, and debris from downed drones fell between residential buildings.
Later, Russia struck a gas station.
Late last night, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy warned of preparations for a new massive strike. He stated that intelligence had detected corresponding preparations on Russia's part.
