Russia strikes Ukraine with 208 drones overnight: Air defense's work reported

On the night of February 28, Russian troops launched 208 Shahed drones and imitation drones at Ukraine. The Air Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed 107 of them.
Russian drones were launched from the directions of the Russian cities of Orel, Bryansk, Kursk, Millerovo, Shatalovo, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk.
Aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Air Force and Defense Forces repelled Russian drone attack.
As of 9 a.m. Kyiv time, 107 Russian drones have been confirmed downed in Kharkiv, Kyiv, Poltava, Sumy, Chernihiv, and many other regions.
In particular, 97 Russian imitator drones were lost locally without any negative consequences.

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Russian troops have been regularly attacking Ukraine's infrastructure with guided aerial bombs, drones, missiles of various types, and artillery. In particular, Russia launches drones almost every night. For example, on the night of February 27, the Russians attacked Ukraine with 166 Shahed attack drones and imitation drones. Ukrainian air defense forces were operating in 11 regions.
