Russian troops attacked Ukraine with ballistic missiles and strike drones overnight. Most of the Russian targets were destroyed by the air defense forces of the Ukrainian Air Force.

On the night of February 5, Russia attacked Ukraine with 2 Iskander-M ballistic missiles from the temporarily occupied Crimea, as well as 183 Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas, and other types of drones.

Russian drones flew from the directions of Bryansk, Orel, Kursk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, and Donetsk, about 110 of them were Shaheds.

Russian air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare, and unmanned systems units, as well as mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

According to preliminary data, as of 8 a.m. Kyiv time, 156 Russian drones were shot down or suppressed by Ukrainian air defense forces. Russian ballistic missiles and 22 strike drones were also recorded at 16 locations, as well as the fall of downed Russian drones in 7 locations.

"Russian attack continues, with several Russian drones in the Ukrainian airspace. Follow the safety rules," the Ukrainian Air Force emphasizes.

Russian troops attacked several regions of Ukraine tonight, February 5. One of the main Russian targets was Kyiv. It is noted that Russian drones attacked Kyiv from several directions, resulting in damage in four areas of the city.

Currently, 2 women are known to have been injured. One of them was hospitalized, while the other was treated by medics on the spot.

In addition, Russians struck Zaporizhzhia and the surrounding region, leaving more than 53,000 subscribers without electricity.
