Russia strikes Ukraine with 149 drones overnight: Air defense's work reported

Russia launched a new air strike against Ukraine at 6 p.m. on September 9. This time, Russia deployed over 140 drones of various types, according to the Ukrainian Air Force.
Russia attacked Ukraine with 149 strike drones, specifically:
- Shahed-type drones, about half of which were jet-powered
- Gerbera
- Parodiya-type decoy drones.
Russia launched drones from several directions: Millerovo, Kursk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, the temporarily occupied territory of the Donetsk region, and Hvardiiske in temporarily occupied Crimea.
Aircraft, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, unmanned systems, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces were deployed to repel the air attack.
As of 8 a.m., Ukrainian air defense forces had destroyed or neutralized 128 Russian drones.
At the same time, the Russian drones struck 13 locations, and debris from downed drones fell at 9 locations.
The Ukrainian Air Force also warns Ukrainians that air attacks are still ongoing as Russian drones are being detected in the sky.
Germany plans to deliver PAC-2 missiles for the Patriot air defense system to Kyiv as quickly as possible.
Europe will help Ukraine repel Russia's winter attacks.
Following the Ramstein incident, Poland is preparing an air defense aid package for Ukraine.
