Poland prepares air defense aid package for Ukraine after Ramstein meeting

Following the 36th Ramstein meeting, Poland announced that it was preparing a new €50 million aid package for Ukraine. The package will include air defense equipment, among other forms of support, according to Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense.
During the meeting, partners discussed further strengthening Ukraine’s Defense Forces. The key areas of support include air defense, drones and ammunition.
The Ukrainian side also presented partners with its war plan, which serves as the basis for the Defense Forces’ operations.
Following the meeting, partner countries announced new contributions to support Ukraine on the battlefield.
In particular, Poland is preparing a new aid package worth a total of €50 million. Part of the assistance will be allocated to air defense equipment.
Today, September 8, Germany announced additional support for Ukraine’s air defenses at the Ramstein meeting.
Berlin will urgently provide PAC-2 interceptor missiles from Bundeswehr stocks, increase deliveries of AIM-9 missiles and continue supplying missiles for IRIS-T systems.
