On the night of February 11, the Russian army launched 124 strike drones and up to 18 cruise missiles at Ukraine. Aviation was involved in repelling Russia's air attack, according to the Ukrainian Air Force.

On the night of February 11, 2025, the Russian occupiers launched a combined attack with various types of air-, land-, and sea-based missiles on gas production facilities in the Poltava region. The Russians launched up to 19 cruises, ballistic, and guided missiles. Information on the types and results of combat operations is currently being clarified.

Russia also attacked Ukraine with 124 Shahed-type attack drones and other types of imitators from the directions of:

  • Millerovo;
  • Orel;
  • Bryansk;
  • Kursk;
  • Prymorsko-Akhtarsk.

"Aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare equipment, and mobile fire groups of the Air Force and the Defense Forces of Ukraine were involved in repelling the enemy's air attack," the Air Force said.

As of 10 a.m. Kyiv time, 57 Shahed attack drones and other types of drones were confirmed downed in Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, Kyiv, Cherkasy, Chernihiv, Kirovohrad, Zhytomyr, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson, Mykolaiv, and Odesa regions.

In addition, 64 Russian imitator drones were lost locally, without any negative consequences. Poltava, Chernihiv, Kharkiv, and Cherkasy regions suffered as a result of the Russian attack.

Russian night strike on Ukraine

Last night, Russia launched a combined attack on the territory of Ukraine. First, the Russians used drones and Kalibr cruise missiles. Later in the morning, it became known about the threat of strikes from Russian strategic aviation. At that time, Russian missiles were seen moving in the direction of the Poltava region.

As a result of the Russian missile attack, 9 settlements in the Myrhorod district were left without gas supply.

In addition, due to the Russian strikes on Ukraine, emergency power outages were introduced. According to Ukraine's Energy Minister German Galushchenko, Russia is once again trying to attack Ukraine's energy system.
