Russia strikes Ukraine with 119 drones overnight: Air defense's work reported

On the night of Tuesday, November 11, Russia launched 119 drones of various types at Ukraine. The main strike was on the Donetsk, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, and Odesa regions, according to the Ukrainian Air Force.
Russia struck Ukraine with 119 Shahed and Geran strike drones, as well as other types of drones. They were launched from Russia (Kursk, Millerovo, Orel, Bryansk) and the temporarily occupied Crimea (Gvardeyskoye).
Ukrainian aircraft, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, mobile fire groups, and unmanned systems forces were involved in repelling the Russian attack.
As of 9:30 a.m. Kyiv time, Ukrainian air defense forces shot down or suppressed 53 Russian drones, including Shahed and Geran types. At the same time, 59 attack drones hit 18 locations, and debris from downed drones was recorded in one more location.
Russian attack is still ongoing, with several Russian drones remaining in the Ukrainian sky. The authorities urge citizens to follow safety rules and not to ignore air raid sirens.
Russian strikes on Ukraine on night of November 11
Yesterday evening, the Ukrainian Air Force reported the movement of Russian attack drones towards the southern regions of Ukraine. According to monitoring resources, Russian troops launched about 30 Shahed-type drones.
In the morning of that day, an air raid alert was declared in Kyiv and many regions due to the threat of a Russian ballistic missile strike. During the alert, explosions were heard in Kharkiv.
Mayor Ihor Terekhov clarified that Russia attacked not the city itself, but the Kharkiv region.
Today, Russians attacked the Odesa region with drones. Energy facilities and railway infrastructure were damaged there.
