Russia strikes Ukraine with 115 drones and 3 ballistic missiles overnight

On the night of Tuesday, September 23, the Russian army launched ballistic missiles and more than a hundred Shahed-type strike drones at Ukraine, according to the Ukrainian Air Force.
On the night of September 23, starting at 9 p.m. on September 22, Russia attacked Ukraine with 3 Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles and 115 Shahed and Gerbera strike drones, as well as other types of drones.
Russia launched drones from the following directions:
- Kursk;
- Orel;
- Millerovo;
- Shatalovo;
- Primorsko-Akhtarsk;
- Gvardeyskoye, Crimea
About 60 drones were of Shahed type.
Russian air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare, and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
As of 9 a.m. Kyiv time, Ukrainian air defense forces had shot down or suppressed 103 Russian Shahed, Gerbera, and other types of drones in the north, south, and east of Ukraine.
Missile strikes and 12 strike drones were recorded in 6 locations, as well as the fall of downed drones (debris) in eight locations.
A new group of Russian drones has also been detected in the northeast.

Yesterday evening, Russia attacked the territory of Ukraine with groups of Shahed strike drones from different directions, as well as with various types of missiles. As a result, air raid alerts were declared in various regions.
The Russians attacked a critical infrastructure facility in Chernihiv.
Zaporizhzhia was under Russian attack again. This time, the Russians again used aerial bombs and drones. Civilian residential infrastructure was damaged in the city, and one person was killed.
Yesterday evening, Russia struck Odesa. According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, buildings of a hotel, Ukrainian Post, Ukrainian Telecommunication companies, a cultural center, an administrative services center, and several cars were damaged. One casualty is known.
During the night, Russia damaged the infrastructure of Ukrainian Railways, and a number of trains are running with delays.
