Russia strikes Ukraine's Ternopil with jet-powered drone

On the morning of September 29, explosions were heard in Ternopil—the city was attacked by a jet drone, according to an RBC-Ukraine correspondent, the Ukrainian Air Force, and the head of the Ternopil Regional Military Administration, Taras Pastukh.
The Ukrainian Air Force issued a warning about a Russian drone moving south of Horodok in the Khmelnytskyi region, heading toward the Ternopil region.
Subsequently, Taras Pastukh, head of the Ternopil Regional State Administration, reported that a jet-powered drone was moving toward the region and then set a course for the regional capital. He urged residents to take shelter immediately.
Later, as reported by an RBC-Ukraine correspondent, sounds resembling explosions were heard in Ternopil.
Local authorities have not yet reported on the consequences of the Russian attack.
Meanwhile, on the night of September 29, the Russians carried out about 10 strikes on the Zhytomyr region, targeting transportation and fuel infrastructure as well as civilian enterprises in Zhytomyr, Korosten, Zviahel, and Ovruch. There is no information on casualties or injuries.
Overnight and in the morning, Russian forces attacked Odesa and the surrounding region.
Eight people were injured; a civilian enterprise was destroyed, and the port, a high school, and an animal shelter were damaged.
