Russia strikes Ukraine's Sumy with drones for second time, death toll rises

Russian forces have launched a second drone attack on the city of Sumy, killing a 60-year-old woman, according to Oleh Hryhorov, head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration.
As Hryhorov reported, the Russian army targeted a social infrastructure facility around 3:00 p.m. Buildings and vehicles were reported damaged.
Meanwhile, the number of people injured in the previous strike has risen to four. In that earlier attack, the enemy hit civilian infrastructure, shattering windows in both an educational and a medical facility.
Russian attacks on Ukraine
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Russia has systematically attacked Ukrainian territory. The regions suffering the most destruction are those located near the front line.
For these attacks, Russian forces use a wide range of weapons: missiles, artillery systems, guided aerial bombs, and drones. Enemy drones are launched almost nightly. For example, on the night of July 22, 42 attack drones were launched.
